Broken Friendship

"Are you fucking Jessie?" Lisa was eager to hear my response.

I dragged her to my room after she saw me and Jessie together.

"Answer me" she asked again

"I don't know. He kissed me. I couldn't resist him. The guy is perfect "I answered sounding like a child

" You know how messed up this is right? He's sleeping with your mum and you at the same time " she said angrily.

She started pacing around.

"I don't know why you are mad, Frank has been cheating on you for God knows how long but you still go back to him. You don't have the right to judge" I said angrily.

She stopped pacing around and looked at me with hurt and anger.

" You know what, I'm leaving and that's a low blow""she grabbed her bag and slammed the door.

I lied on the bed.  I feel bad for bringing Frank up. But she had no right to judge me. If she can make silly mistakes why can't l?
She was all over Jessie the other day and I'm not allowed to. Screw her.

I wonder what would have happened if Lisa wasn't around. Would Jessie and I make love?
Was  I ready to lose my v card to Jessie just because he's nice and handsome. Do I even know him that well.

With all these unanswered questions I fell asleep. I woke up from the sound of the alarm, rubbing my eyes.

I went downstairs and Jessie was cooking. He looked like he didn't sleep.
"Good morning" I said in a high spirit and all I got was a nod.

I made my cereal while he made his pancakes. He didn't ask if I wanted one.

" Your mum's gonna be home today but I'll pick you up from school" he said not looking at me .

" You don't have to. I can ask a friend for a ride or take the bus instead "I said

"Okay " he mumbled
Okay??? Is he not going to insist.

Why is he acting cold towards me after almost having a make up session with me.

"I'll probably be late tonight. Don't wait up." He carried his phone to the dinning table.

Such a jerk.

I took a bus to school and I met Jake.
"Hey,did I do something yesterday. You just disappeared, I know I take forever to get dressed but patience" he laughed

"Something happened. I should have told you before leaving" I said feeling guilty.

"Since you ditched , how about I take you out on a date" he gave me those puppy eyes.

"Not the puppy eyes" I joked " But sure"

"I'll pick you up at 7??"
I nodded.

I spent most of the time trying to ignore Lisa and she did the same. I wasn't going to apologise and I know she wasn't either
