In the depths where shadows creep
A whispered truth and secrets deep
Behind the mask I hide my face
A fragile heart in a hidden place
Blackmail binds with chains of fear
Each threat a dagger sharp and near
They see the smile the laughters glow
But never glimpse the pain below
Used and tosses like a forgotten toy
My essence lost in a charade of joy
Yet in the silence a voice will rise
To shatter the darkness unveil the lies
They think they know but can't perceive
The battles fought the webs I weave
A puppets dance a scripted play
In shadows deep I drift away
Behind the curtain the truth lies bare
A soul in turmoil gasping for air
With every whisper my spirit frays
Longing for light to break this haze
But courage stirs within my core
The break the silence and to see for more
Still bound by their cruel game
Can't claim this voice or ignite this flame
But in shadows strength can grow
A phoenix can rise from depths below
And though the past may leave scars
I would wear them proudly like shining stars
So let them watch let them pretend
They never grasp my heart to mend
With every step I shed the guise
Embracing my truth beneath the skies.
