Marigold'Paw watched in shock and anger as Hemlock'Spring was struck down. There she was, her hero, her savior, now bleeding out in the rain. The clan was mixed with triumph, shock, and horror. Rose'Tail hissed and stepped up in fury.
"You question her reason, you disobey her rule, and now you have the gall to slice her throat!" She shouted.
Marigold'Paw looked to Orchid'Paw in question, Orchid'Paw was staring at the deputy, Holly'claw through narrowed eyes, her claws out and gripping the ground.
The rest of the tribe roared back-
"She was a tyrant!"
"She killed innocent cats!"
"She lead apprentices to disobey their mentors and queens!"
"FINE!" Rose'Tail shouted "if you all don't want the reasonable cats in your tribe, we'll leave." With that the dark ash grey and red she leapt from the tree, throwing glares at every cat as a swarm of warriors followed her out of the camp.
Marigold'Paw looked back at the camp with an infuriated glare, then back to Orchid'Paw with a light smile.
"Those fools.. they think my parents were innocent." Orchid'Paw hissed.
"A cat that denies other's happiness is worse than one that kills." Marigold'Paw responded with a smile. The two nodded in agreement.
"Y'know, I always did hate my name.. now that o don't have to follow their stupid names, maybe I'll change it to something cool!" Marigold'Paw said exist as they walked away from the camp, she didn't need that tribe.
All she needed was orchid.
