Wasp'Whisker entered the den with a twitch of her whisker, she tried to seem calm and well composed but she was still irritated from her and Crab'sMoss's conversation.
Orchid turned her head to look at Wasp'Whisker, her entire demeanor matched what Wasp'Whisker was trying to be like.
Orchid was calm, cool, and collected,
Comparing herself to Orchid, Wasp'Whisker was an anger driven, irritated, and insecure opposite of her one and only superior."Wasp'Whisker." Orchid greeted, "You're perfectly on time, I was just about to send for you." Wasp'Whisker was rather intrigued by this.
"Why?" She asked,
"I wanted to hold a meeting with you and Foam'sHeart." Orchid explained simply, "But first.."
Wasp'Whisker rose her head."I'm aware you are displeased with some of my previous acts, you were not excited that I followed you when you recruited Rattle'sPaw, or when I sent him on a mission, or when I had him bring home Foam'sHeart." Orchid listed various things that had irritated Wasp'Whisker, Wasp'Whisker was glad orchid were bringing these up.
"Wasp'Whisker, I understand you more than any other cat has, I know you, and I know how I upset you and why it upsetted you. You want control, and i violated your own privacy and control, and I'm sorry. And I should've told you about Foam'sHeart, I know you and her were close." Orchid rambles for a while, Wasp'Whisker hated this feeling, to have a cat know everything about her, even things she herself didn't know.
"Do I really value control like that..?"
She thought to herself, she knew she was close to Foam'sHeart, but everything else...
She snapped out of her daze,
"..Thank you Orchid." She nodded, "I assume Foam'sHeart will be appearing here shortly?" She inquired."Yes. any moment now, have a seat." Orchid patted her tail on top of a moss bed next to her. Wasp'Whisker sat on the moss bed as Foam'sHeart entered their den.
"Foam'sHeart." Orchid greeted nodding her head with a small smile as Foam'sHeart sat down.
"Hello my old friends, how much have you two grown? You're both taller than me!" She laughed slightly. Looking up slightly at the two cats.
"Your puns amuse us Foam.." Orchid said softly,
"But we're here on serious matters." Wasp'Whisker finished Orchid's sentence."You see, we have lived on our tiny island, and hunted in moss tribe's territory.."
"But we're cautious when hunting, and it slows us down."
"So we're going to take their territory so we won't be slowed down, not to mention, the..the other thing."
Orchid and Wasp'Whisker built on each-other's sentences continuously as if they were one."Ah, finally taking action I see." Foam'sHeart smiled proudly. "I know of a way you could help yourselves, the Boa tribe has been wanting some sweet moss tribe territory for a while.. they want some ponds near the border, nothing useful there of course. Recruit them and promise them their ponds, then you'll have double the forces." Foam'sHeart instructed, simply.
"Unfortunately, me and Wasp'Whisker are needed at our camp, if YOU however persuade them we could do so." Orchid figured the idea would work.
"Now, Rattle'sPaw." Wasp'Whisker changed the subject to the new recruit."Yes, What did he tell you?" Orchid asked.
"Nothing useful he's WAY too unsure, but he isn't included with the moss tribe." Foam'sHeart explained seemingly bored,, "The kid's rather unathletic, pretty weak. I could see him as a spy.. if you teach the kid how to climb but that won't happen for.. a while." Foam'sHeart muttered a bit, waving her paws exaggerating."I see, this meeting has gone well. Foam'sHeart you are excused, good day to you." Orchid bowed her head and waved her paw lightly.
"Wasp'Whisker." Orchid turned to Wasp'Whisker,
"Crab'sMoss told me of the medicine den thing, you do as understand I am not upset about your recruit's injury?" Wasp'Whisker nodded,
"Look Wasp'Whisker, I'm not mad at you, it's just.." Orchid looked to her side, standing up."You and I are the pillars of this clan, we may not have founded it but this IS our ONLY home. We don't have anywhere to go if this all blows up, and I have many.. MANY, of my friend's lives at stake. I've been stressed trying to get more recruits, intel, and everything as to prepare us for minimal casualties on our side. I can't get caught up in grief when we take over." She explained,
Wasp'Whisker looked over to the side.
"I understand Orchid, you talk to all the members, you're attached to them. If anyone here died, you'd probably be crushed.. but don't worry, I promise I can get us atleast one or more recruits." She said approaching orchid."Thank you. Wasp'Whisker." She said gratefully,
"I.. must rest." Orchid turned away and curled up in her moss nest. Wasp'Whisker bowed her head slightly and left the den.She was rather hungry, so she set off hunting.
"Maybe if Orchid wants intel I could kidnap a moss tribe cat.. then we could get information out of them without me having to spy.." she murmured to herself.
She decided this was a good idea, and as she hunted kept her eyes out for any alone moss tribe cat.Her tail whipped in the wind and her paws soared in the air as she plummeted back to the ground and continued through the forest. Her heavy paws pounded like a patrol of cats as she felt the breeze hit her face like claws. She launched herself on top of a tree and threw herself higher.
As she scaled one of the branches and paused and raised her fur raised as she heard a voice.
"Hide, I hear someone." Whispered a cat, she heard the noises of fur brushing the dirt and she looked over the branch. The bold orange apprentice from the patrol..? She was in the middle of the mossy rocks looking like she was busy. She looked around frantically, as if looking for someone.
"I think they're gone." She whispered to what looked like a few boulders. Wasp'Whisker flicked her ear expectantly. Wasp'Whisker's eyes slightly widened as a large furry she emerged, the she was extremely tall.c possibly taller than Wasp'Whisker.
"I can't have my clan know I'm slacking off my stupid medicine cat duties.. much less embezzling prey for a loner." She murmured to the large she.
"They're good at keeping quiet.. but at least I have good hearing.."
Wasp'Whisker thought to herself with a smirk.
"Aye, thanks for going through all this trouble for me.." the tall cat explained."Alright time to crash the party.." Wasp'Whisker murmured before stretching and leaping down from the tree.
"Aye!" Shouted the orange she, Wasp'Whisker realized the orange cat.. she wasn't an apprentice, she was about warrior age, just.. short."Aye aye.. look, I don't want any trouble. That being said.." Wasp'Whisker leapt over to the tall she, who seemed too tired to react in time. She let her claws slide out and gripped the brown she's throat.
"You." Wasp'Whisker pointed to the orange she, "You're Moss tribe, No?""I... am I a moss tribe cat." The orange she looked worried for the tall one.
"This your little loner friend? Secret little besties?" Wasp'Whisker was having a bit of fun with her words, but maintained a serious expression."What do you want..?" The orange she backed off, staring into Wasp'Whisker.
"Alright, option one, I Kill her." She explained first, tightening her grip on the she's throat,
"Or option two.. I can give your little friend a better home, If you agree to do a little job for me and my friends." She put simply, "But there's also option three, you still do a job for me, but your friend stays here and secret.""Let me.. think about it."
"NO. Answer. Now."
