I sighed as I watched yet another interviewee walk out the door. Josie and I were looking for more nail techs and hairstylist and these bitches were not fucking qualified.

"If I get another bitch who put press ons on a person and call it art, I swear I'm going to snap." Josie huffed.

I chuckled and shook my head before I looked at my nails. I made a mental note to get Josie to do me a fill in.

"Hi." Josie smiled.

I looked up to see a man, I raised my brow.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Names Tyshawn." He said sitting in front of us.

Josie and I shared a look.

"So...what brings you in?" I asked.

"Y'all had a hiring sign...open interview so." He shrugged.

"We're looking for someone who can do hair or nails...booth rent is $250 a week. You have to have your licenses and credentials." Josie explained.

"I do nails, I can show you my portfolio and a few videos." He said.

I was interested, I sat up as he opened his portfolio. Josie gasp as she gawked at the photos, nails was literally her...dream.

"These are fire." She smiled.

"Where did you previous work?" I asked.

"I use to work in the salon, that was downtown-"

"Just Cause?" Josie asked.

I rolled my eyes, Just Cause is a beauty salon. They do it all...it's one of them bougie places champagne, memberships, no gossip. Those...they sucked the phone out of getting pampered.

"Why'd you leave?" I asked.

He chuckled and showed the back of his hand.

"Oh." Josie said.

"Let's just say I was tired of being accused of theft." He sighed.

"We can burn-"

"You won't have to worry about it those problems here." Josie said interrupting me.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. She cleared her throat and gave me a warned look.

"Here's my credentials, and here's my phone for video proof of me actually doing my work." He smiled.

"How old are you?" I asked.

"29." He said.

"Damn you old." I said.

"You old too, keep it up and you'll be touching Marks age. Grandma." Josie laughed.

I rolled my eyes.

"No, that man is old as hell." I said.

Josie waved me off as she focused on the video. The door opened again causing me to tilt my head.
