YALL I FORGOT I WAS WRITING THIS BUT ANYWAYS LET ME CONTINUE

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Beomgyu took another shaky breath, nodding as he clung to Soobin's words like a lifeline. His hands still trembled, and the wildness in his eyes was slowly shifting into something darker—a fierce, simmering resolve. His jaw clenched as he wiped at his face, visibly struggling to hold himself together. Whoever had orchestrated this, whoever had decided to hurt Yeonjun like this, had sent that video as a taunt, a cruel reminder of how powerless they were meant to feel. But Beomgyu refused to let his last memory of his husband be this—beaten, broken, and pleading. He'd do whatever it took to change that, even if it meant crossing lines he never imagined crossing.

The silence between the brothers was broken by the soft creak of the door as Taehyun appeared in the hallway, his gaze immediately catching the shattered cup on the floor, the haunting look in Beomgyu's eyes, and the tightly controlled fury in Soobin's expression. Without a word, he stepped inside, closing the door behind him and assessing the weight of the moment with a somber understanding.

"What happened?" he asked, his voice gentle but direct as his eyes searched theirs.

Soobin glanced at Beomgyu, waiting for a nod of consent before passing his phone to Taehyun. Taehyun accepted it, a flicker of concern on his face as he pressed play. His expression shifted from confusion to horror, then to cold fury as the brutal images and sounds unfolded on the screen. By the end, his normally calm face had hardened, his jaw clenched tightly.

"Those bastards," he murmured, his voice low, filled with a simmering rage. He looked up at Beomgyu, his gaze sharp, carrying a silent promise. "We're going to get him back, Beomgyu. And we're going to make them pay for every single thing they've done to him."

Beomgyu took a deep, unsteady breath, his voice strained. "I can't... I can't just sit here and do nothing," he whispered, desperation threading his words. "They have Yeonjun, and they're... torturing him. If we wait too long, if we don't act..."

His voice cracked, and Soobin's arm tightened around him, keeping him grounded. "We'll act," Soobin said firmly, his tone steely. "But we have to be smart. They sent that video to break you, to make us act recklessly. We're not going to give them the satisfaction. Not while Yeonjun's counting on us to keep our heads."

Taehyun's gaze turned resolute as he nodded. "Soobin's right. Charging in without a plan will only get Yeonjun hurt more, and put us all in danger. First, we find out exactly where he is, and who's responsible. There might be clues in the video—a location ping, a digital footprint, something to trace. I'll get started on it immediately."

Beomgyu's fists clenched at his sides, and he looked between them, clinging to the hope they were giving him. The images from the video still haunted his mind—Yeonjun's bruised face, his pained breaths—but with his brother and Taehyun by his side, he felt a sliver of strength creeping back. He wanted to believe that there was a way, that somehow, they could outwit the people behind this and bring Yeonjun home.

"I... I don't know what I'd do without you two," Beomgyu whispered, gratitude and pain mingling in his voice. His face was pale but determined as he drew another deep breath, trying to steel himself. "Thank you. Both of you."

Soobin's grip on his shoulder tightened. "There's no need to thank us, Beomgyu. We're family. We're in this together, no matter what."

Taehyun nodded, his jaw set with determination. "We'll find him. They might think they have the upper hand, but they don't know what they're up against." He took a deep breath, his eyes meeting Beomgyu's with a reassuring strength. "And we're not letting them get away with this."

Later that evening, as dusk settled over the city, Soobin found himself waiting in one of the empty conference rooms at their headquarters. His mind was still clouded with the haunting images from the video, the sight of Yeonjun helpless and bound, of Beomgyu's broken expression as he watched his husband suffer. He clenched his fists, anger and helplessness mingling as he forced himself to breathe slowly, to stay steady. For Beomgyu's sake, he needed to keep it together.

The door creaked open, breaking Soobin's thoughts, and Taehyun stepped in, carrying a laptop under one arm. He cast Soobin a glance, awkwardly clearing his throat as he crossed the room, setting the laptop down on the table between them.

"Thanks for meeting me," Taehyun started, keeping his tone casual but focused. His expression softened as he looked at Soobin. "I know things have been tense. I just thought we'd... well, with Beomgyu and all that's happened, we need to work together on this."

Soobin gave a small nod, feeling the remnants of tension from their previous interactions lingering in the air. "You're right," he replied quietly. "We need a clear plan—and we need to be on the same page, no matter what."

Taehyun took a seat across from Soobin, offering a faint smile. "Agreed. And I think we might have a lead."

He turned the laptop around, fingers flying over the keys as he pulled up several security camera feeds. "Kai managed to access some surveillance footage from the area where we think Yeonjun was taken. It's... it's not easy to watch, but it's something."

The video loaded on the screen, and they both leaned in. The grainy footage flickered, showing an alley behind one of the club districts where Yeonjun was last seen. The timestamp was from nearly a week ago—the night he went missing. They watched as Yeonjun exited a building alone, looking over his shoulder before glancing at his phone. His demeanor was calm, as if he was just meeting someone.

Then, out of the shadows, several figures emerged. They moved quickly, surrounding Yeonjun. Soobin's jaw clenched as he recognized some familiar faces—Jungwon, Niki, and Sunghoon, members of the Enhypen mafia team.

Taehyun narrowed his eyes. "They planned this. They knew exactly where he'd be." His voice was low, anger simmering beneath his calm demeanor.

On the screen, they watched as Jungwon approached Yeonjun, exchanging a few words before giving a subtle signal. Sunghoon was the first to strike, a quick, brutal blow that left Yeonjun reeling. Niki moved in next, using a stun gun that left Yeonjun momentarily paralyzed, just long enough for them to bind his hands and drag him out of the camera's view.

Soobin took a sharp breath, feeling his stomach twist with anger and disgust. "They're using Yeonjun as bait to get to Beomgyu—and by extension, us. This isn't just about him; they're trying to manipulate our entire group."

Taehyun's eyes darkened. "They're ruthless, but we can use this against them. We know their plan now, and we can counter it."

He switched to another video file, one from the following night. It showed a masked figure placing something in Beomgyu's mailbox—a flash drive. "This was the first clue, the beginning of their game. They wanted us to find Yeonjun, to see him suffering. They wanted Beomgyu to feel powerless."

Soobin's gaze remained fixed on the screen, his voice steady but laced with cold determination. "If they want to play games, then we'll play. But we won't let them control this. We'll find Yeonjun and bring him back."

Taehyun nodded, glancing at Soobin with newfound respect. "I agree. But to pull this off, we'll need the entire team—all of our resources. We'll need Beomgyu's focus, and we'll need each other."

For a brief moment, the awkwardness between them dissipated, replaced by a shared understanding, an unspoken promise. They would set aside any tension, any hesitation, to protect the people they cared about.

"So," Soobin said, his voice firm. "Let's make a plan. We'll bring Yeonjun back, and we'll show Enhypen exactly what happens when they mess with our family."

A slight smile tugged at the corner of Taehyun's mouth as he met Soobin's determined gaze. "Now that's the Soobin I know. Let's get to work."
