Let's get a quick look at Adventure City Prison, present day. Two prisoners inside, who got arrested for the events of Pupocalypse, suddenly get a realization.
Ruben: Hey, Butch.
Butch: Yeah, Ruben?
Ruben: Do you remember those German Shepherds that got us here the first time when we were dog catchers?
Butch: (grits teeth) How could I forget?
Ruben: I just had a realization. That police dog we captured when Humdinger was mayor, and his siblings, they were the pups that looked after the small one. I'm guessing that's their father!
Butch: How is that possible?
Ruben: Hey. Look at all the PAW Patrol have done and can do. It's possible, ain't it?
Butch: (realizes) Wow. Chase's dad. Tristan. He was that small pup we captured. (scoffs) He's not so small now. His son is part of the PAW Patrol.
Ruben: I will never look at those pups, or that police chief Tristan, the same way . . . ever again.
Butch: Neither will I.
Meanwhile, after what seemed like an eternity, Ryder and Rocky have finished repairing the device. The two nerds walked out of the Lookout with the usual dramatic mist coming out of the doors and the device in their grasp. Everyone else, who was outside, looked at them with a mixture of surprise, hope, and joy. But mainly, hope.
Ryder: It has taken us two weeks and a couple bruises.
Rocky: But we! Have finally repaired this thing!!!
Everyone: YEAAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHH!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!
Tundra: (runs up to Rocky and hugs him) I'm SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! HAHA!!!!! (licks his face)
Rocky: (chuckles) Tundra.
Tristan: So . . . does this mean . . . we can see them again?
Ryder: (chuckles) What else does it look like?
Tot: But . . . how does it work?
Ryder: Well, now that it's charged, all we have to do use this to find what timeline or time period they are in, press the button, and shazam! They're back.
The Junior Patrollers turn their heads in confusion. So were Chase's parents.
Sammy: I have no idea what you just said.
Skye: He's saying we can use the thing to find your pups.
Sammy: Ahh.
Marshall: (anxious), So, where are they?! It WAS kinda MY fault I caused all this.
Mini: (sorry) More like . . . ours. (Nano and Tot stand behind Mini, exactly like her)
Liberty: It's alright, puffballs.
Ryder and Rocky put their tech-savviness to work as they search for the four German Shepherd pups. It only took a minute, but when they did, it was actually more surprisingly close than they thought.
Ryder: Oh. They're just in Adventure City, in the year of 2000.
Tristan: The year I was born?
Rocky: Right, but we don't know what date they could be in 2000.
Rubble: I'm just glad they're not in New York.
