 I open my phone, and I smile ; Luz wrote to me again. We've been texting each other a lot lately... I like it, even though Ed and Em keep teasing me about it.

 Luz✨: hey, adoramity~

anyway, I was just wondering if u wanted to sleep at eda's since we dont have class tomorrow

 I grab my phone, put on my Hecate t-shirt from The Good Witch Azura and quickly pack a bag. Mom isn't home ; if I hurry and leave before she comes back, I can go to Luz's. I run down the stairs, pass by my father's office and say in one go : 

"Hi, I'm going to Luz's, bye." 

I don't give him time to answer and leave the house. Anyway, he doesn't know who Luz is. I have to meet Luz at Hexside, that's what she told me in her messages. She was finishing up later because she had music club. I wait for her in front of the room, and soon she comes out, followed by Élizabeth Black aka Ziggy, president of the club. 

"Amity, are you Luz's date then ?" she asks. 

"I-I'm not her date" I answer, turning scarlet. 

"I'd think otherwise, judging by your reaction ! I love your hair by the way ! Bye." 

Luz looks at me, a little red too, and says : 

"Sorry, she's a little...intense. But very nice ! And very cool." 

"I guess so. Shall we go ?" 

"Yes, let's go ! Oh and Amity, I love your t-shirt too much, be careful not to leave it lying around or you might never see it again !" 

"I'll protect it until death do us apart then" I answer, laughing. 

I follow Luz to the Owl House, we exchange our theories on She Ra and Azura. Once there, Luz opens the door, and King jumps on her.
