Garlic Jr. has managed to escape the Dead Zone and is eager for revenge. Meanwhile, life for the Z Fighters has become peaceful as Krillin now has a girlfriend named Maron and Master Roshi is having a party on his island. Up at Kami's Lookout, however, Garlic Jr. and his Spice Boys have trapped Kami and Mr. Popo in a small glass bottle. Garlic Jr. then plans to release the Blackwater Mist onto Earth, turning the people into mindless evil fiends.
