King Kai's plan nears completion as all of Frieza's victims are wished back to life, including Guru and the Dragon balls. Meanwhile, Frieza launches a sneak attack and knocks Goku into a pool of lava and he appears to have been defeated. With Goku apparently out of action, Gohan arrives on the scene and takes it up against Frieza. Frieza easily beats Gohan, but Goku re-emerges from the lava and sends Gohan back to his ship.
