Garlic Jr. watches as the Z-Fighters struggle to keep from being sucked into the Dead Zone, thinking it is only a matter of time. Gohan is the only one still standing, protecting Krillin and Piccolo, and it will take a risky attack to put an end to Garlic Jr. once and for all. Gohan then unleashes an attack, which destroys the Makyo Star. With his power source destroyed, Garlic Jr. reverts back into his small form and is sucked into the Dead Zone, this time permanently.
