"So, you are telling me that the woman who was your wife and you lost has come back!? Or someone who looks like her!? Really?" Freya exclaimed in shock. Sameera was a topic that she got to know was hard to touch by the brothers, or well the whole family who knew her, she knew not to mention her name in public but now she is getting the news that the supposed dead wife was alive was kind of hard to digest.
"Are you sure? It can be a ploy or something against us. You can't let your emotions put our family in danger, no offense." Freya, in no way, was going to let her family get hurt, especially by the name which she understood was such a sour topic to touch. If just her name affected them too much, what would happen if she would come in person? That would be too much power in one person's hand, which we don't even know is good or not. Freya was not going to take any chances.
"Your concerns are right sister. It unfortunately can be a ploy of our enemies." Elijah backed Freya's concerns. He was not going to put his family in danger due to his emotions.
"I talked to her! I know she is real! Even Rebekah backed it!" Niklaus was getting frustrated, to think they are doubting his ability to know who his love is, it's insulting.
"It's honestly insulting how you are doubting my abilities." Niklaus said, clearly annoyed.
"Matter of fact I don't trust any of us to not get drowned in emotions and be fooled by a woman wearing our wife's face. She could be a ploy and a very good one, to control us. As much as I would love for it to be true, I don't trust it." Kol wanted it to be true, oh so desperately, but he couldn't think his fate would be this good to give him a second chance, Sameera was and will always remain his best chance in life. He thought maybe fate only gives one and she was the one, such beautiful things don't come in life again and again. He wasn't that fortunate, his only fortune was already gone.
Niklaus sighs in annoyance and sits in an armchair, "It's honestly shocking how I, of all people, am the only optimistic person here." Niklaus exclaimed in mild shock of the given circumstances.
"I think we should keep open minds and not come into the situation with preconceptions. That would only cloud our judgement to go only one way." Finn added, a slight frown on his face as he observed the tension in the mansion.
