The four elements lived in harmony, even if fire could burn earth or water could extinguish fire they found a balance in between themselves. Until the fire elements attacked the other elements, burning and evaporating anyone who would come across their way, the other elements knew that fire was too dangerous so they extinguished every single one of them. The other elements thought that the peace would be restored but now that the fire is gone, things started to get out of balance causing a war that would go on for hundreds of years...

700 years later...

The world became a cold and cruel place, a world full of thieves and murderers. No one could trust each other...

A young leaf was walking alone in a desert.

She had a backpack full of things, on her face she had eye bags and a tired look.

The only reason this leaf was still alive was because she was always moving from town to town. No matter how tired she was or even in winter she kept moving forward. Being a girl made living in this world very difficult, the men always take advantage of women, so at a very young age she ran away from her hometown.

The leaf was heading to the forest in front of the desert, but before she entered the forest she looked around the desert for abandoned towns. She saw a little town that was a mile or two from where she was, she walked closer to the town and noticed a lot of fire burns on the floor. As she entered one of the houses that were made of stone she saw that there were also a lot fire burns around the floor, coal in bags and a lot of fire ashes.

"This could come in handy", she thought while grabbing the bag of coal.

And then again she was on her way towards the forest.

Entering the forest made her a bit suspicious that she was not alone, it made her feel uneasy, afraid that the person in the forest was a man or if it were men. She pulled out a knife from her backpack and continued on her way.

She felt a wave of exhaustion on her body, her feet barely holding her body and backpack, she knew that she needed to take a break from walking more than a normal person could. And her lack of sleep wasn't helping her situation, she couldn't stay focused but she managed to resist from falling asleep, at least until she could find some sort of shelter.

The sun was setting, the birds started to go to sleep, but she continued to walk.

She wasn't fully aware of her surroundings, but she did notice that the forest had grown on top of some sort of small abandoned city.

Not too far from where she was there was a building, she ran as fast as she could. As she got closer she saw that there wasn't an entrance, she looked around the building and saw a window that seemed to have melted glass and fire burns around but she was so desperate to sleep that she just ignored it. She entered the building and saw that there were so many books on the walls and the floor, some of the books had burned pages, the little bushes in the building were burned as well, but again all she wanted was to sleep. She went to a small corner in between the shelves, pulled out a blanket out of her backpack and laid down.

She was looking at the ceiling, scared of something hurting her while she was sleeping, but she just heard crickes and owels outside of the building, all she could do is hope that nothing would happen.

She closed her eyes and said "Hopefully I'll be alive tomorrow".
