Just a bit over the forest, on a cold mountain, inside a cave, lived a lonely young flame. The last of the fire elements...

He was sitting on a rock bed while reading a book and eating coal. Little giggles would escape his mouth here and there. It was sorta quiet until...

"THEY KISSED???!!!!!", the flame yelled in excitement, causing his fire to go wild and burn the book.

"wait... NO, NO, NO, NOO-"

"Ugh... Not again..."

He goes outside of the cave and takes out the book.

"Nighttime, already?", he says to himself.

He looks at the stars with a sad look on his face. He sits down and feels the cold breeze over his body, smiling, enjoying the view and the weather. After a while he decides to go back inside.

He grabs a piece of coal and starts drawing on the wall. On the wall is a drawing of him smiling, underneath the drawing he writes "me and _____". He looks at it and says...

"Maybe I will meet someone and I won't have to be alone anymore"

A little frown grows on his face. All this flame has wanted was a friend, but he knew that it was better to just stay in the the forest and mountain where he couldn't hurt anyone.

"I think I should go too sleep", he says to himself and goes to his rock bed.

The flame stares at the ceiling and thinks before falling asleep...

"Tomorrow is a new day..."

Morning came...

The birds were chirping, the sun was slowly coming out over the horizon and the air was fresh.

The young flame woke up from their sleep. He looked around the cave before getting up, letting a groan escape his mouth. As he was about to leave he got his trolley cart and left the cave.

As he walked in the forest, he saw the birds with their pairs. It made him feel more lonely than he already was. But he couldn't let his feelings get in the way of survival so he snapped out of his thoughts and began to work. He started to pick up sticks and dry leaves, then he went to the buildings and houses looking for coal or old and dry materials.

His final stop was going to the library.

He entered the window and carefully made his way inside, making sure he didn't get anything on fire. He loved the smell of old books, he carefully grabbed a blueish book from the shelf, opened the first page. Didn't interest him, so he grabbed another book. Didn't interest him again, then grabbed another book, and again, and again, and again...

He gave up on that section of the book, and went looking in between the shelves, checking some of the books here and there. Nothing seemed to interest him.

Then he went to last bookshelf, right when he was going to enter he saw someone sleeping there.

He just looked at the body Infront of him, not knowing how to react, making sure not to burn the person as he got closer and saw that it was a leaf.

A small gasp escaped his mouth, causing the sleeping leaf to move a little, and in fear of getting caught the flame just ran away from the library.

"Wait! This is my chance to have a friend", he said in an exited tone.

The leaf, who was woken up by the flame, immediately threw out a knife to the wall only to see no one.

"I thought I heard someone...", She said to herself.

Then a thud was heard behind the shelf, along with the voice of a boy. "Ow.. I really got to watch where I'm stepping..."

The leaf immediately got another knife and held it close to her. Scared he will see her.
The boys footsteps got closer to her every second and as well her thoughts got darker. "What if he just wants to steal from me?... What if he steals and hurts me?.. What if he is not alone?... What if he tries to ra-"  She snapped out of her thoughts as soon as she didn't hear any footsteps.

She took a deep breath and came out of the shelf, only to see a fire element who was a couple of inches far from her face.
