Bewitched: A Fireafy story

Chapter 4: No one

Warning: SUGGESTIVE THEMES!! (Only in the beginning).

"Hello?"

"Mom?..."

"Pin?..."

"Anyone...?"

The leaf was in a back void walking alone...

When she called for help no one heard her...

Until someone answered her...

"Leafy..."

The leaf turned around and saw that it was a man...

Her eyes widened, her heart pounding faster, body shaking, hands cold and sweating. She just stood there, frozen in fear...

"D-dad?...", She managed to say.

After she said that he didn't answer her back. He smiled at her, and then a bunch of guys appeared behind her. They grabbed her arms from behind and pinned her to the floor.

"NOO! STOP!", she yelled but it didn't work.

"STOP! PLEASE LET GO!", she yelled again.

"MOM! PIN! PLEASE HELP ME!", she yelled and tears were forming in her eyes.

The men were laughing and touching her while she cried and called for help. She couldn't do anything but look at the men. She saw one who was smoking a cigarette, one who had gold teeth and a cowboy hat, and a drunk man who was touching her legs and a bunch other guys as well.

"S-stop.... Please...." She said crying and closing her eyes.

Then they all suddenly stopped. They all lifted their hands from her body and backed away. She slowly opened her eyes only to see the flame in front of her.

With a blank expression on his face.

"d-don't...... please...", she begged him.

"DON'T!!!"

She immediately opened her eyes and realized that it was only a dream. She was sweating and slightly tearing.

"I-it f-felt so real...", she said to herself in a shaky voice.

"What even is that flames deal anyway?... He didn't try to steal or hurt me... And how is he even alive, the fire element was supposed to be extinct hundreds of years ago... Maybe I should follow him...", Leafy thought.

But she couldn't let her fears and thoughts get in her way of surviving so she grabbed her stuff and slowly climbed down the tree. Then when she got down she started walking and looked at the sky...

The sun was barely coming out.

The flame woke up from their slumber. He didn't feel like doing anything, he just wanted to daydream or read a book. He looked around the room and saw the drawing of the leaf on the wall. He felt a rush of adrenaline in his body, it made his fire turn a little blue.

Immediately, he got up, got ready, grabbed his trolley cart and went on his way to the forest.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!! I hope i see that leaf girl again", he thought while his face was beaming.

"For once I'm not alone in this forest"

"For once, unafraid, i can go where life leads me"

He felt like the world had more color everywhere, the world felt new and exiting. He felt like he could just explode, literally and figuratively, he didn't know what this new feeling was but he definitely liked it.
Even if it made his stomach feel weird.

As Leafy continued to walk she heard someone humming a song.

"That flame is humming?", she thought.

So she climbed the trees to see the flame. She carefully made her way over the trees, then she saw him...

"He seems in a happy mood...", she thought while her face started to fill of rage.

She saw that he had a big and bright smile on his face, and walking as if life was wonderful.

"This has to be an act... He's trying to trick me into thinking he's friendly... Well not today, you jeebweezer."

He went from building to building looking for scraps or anything useful. And Leafy followed behind.

The was the flames last stop, the library. He was looking for something romantic. Then he came across a pink book, so he put it in his trolley cart and decided to go back home.

"Hmm... I didn't see her today..." He said to himself, a little sad. Then he looked at the sky...

The sun was setting...

As he was walking back home he heard something fall from the tree behind his back. He looked behind and saw a squirrel with a knife sticking out of it's chest. He grabbed the knife and noticed that it was from the leaf. He started looking for her over the trees but couldn't find her.

"Hello?... uhhh... Leaf girl?" He said looking in the trees.

"You dropped something..." He said with a nervous smile.

No response.

"Do you want me to cook it up for you? I-i can do that, with no problem..."

No response again.

He grabbed a flat rock, dusted it and placed the squirrel on it.

"Well then I'll just leave it here..."

Then he went to his trolley cart, took out a grey sack and placed it next to the rock.

"Sooo... I guess I'll just leave then... Bye bye Leaf girl.", he said with a warm smile and continued walking.

Leafy was stunned by the kindness of this flame. No man in her life had showed her that much kindness, not even her own father.

"Leafy... DON'T YOU DARE FALL FOR THIS MAN'S TRICKS!", she thought to herself.

She went down the tree and went over to where the squirrel and opened the gray sack. It was full of blueberries and strawberries.

"Why would a man give food to someone they don't know..."

"Come on Leafy... You know he is trying to poison you... Idiot... But I can't just let these go to waste."

So she puts the sack in her backpack, grabbed the squirrel and climbed back up to the trees.

Back at to the flame, he was trying to sleep but he just couldn't again. He kept thinking about the leaf.

"I hope she liked the fruits I gave her..."

"What is wrong with me... She doesn't even like me... I'm just alone... Even dad knew I would be alone..."

"I just wish I had a friend... Is that so much to ask for?..."

"I seems like it..."

Lava tears started to form under his eyes, and little sobs escaped his mouth and he curled up to a little ball. He cried for a while until he eventually fell asleep.

He just wants to have someone...
