002. 𝘞𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨?

I woke to sun beaming through the hotel room curtains with a slight, blissful fog over my brain. I could still hear the echoes of last night: the laughter, the music, the surreal cheers when my name was called-not once, but twice. I was a Grammy winner.

I flipped onto my back, turning my head to the table by the window, where my two gold trophies sat proudly-a subtle reminder that it wasn't all some wild dream. Lying next to me, Paul was sprawled out, snoring softly, as serene as always. I smiled, running my fingers through his hair while memories of the after-party flashed through my head-me dancing with Paul, singing along to Everywhere, Everything with Sab and Taylor, my unexpected talk with Niall.

Trying not to wake Paul up, I carefully got out of bed, put a sweater on, and left for the hotel's breakfast lounge. It was deserted except for some early risers. And then, to my astonishment, Sab was already there, sitting at a corner table, with an enormous cup of coffee, her phone facing her.

"Morning, Sab," I said with a smile, swinging into the chair opposite her.

She lifted her head then, the glint now dancing in her eyes: "There she is-the Grammy winner herself!" She toasted her with a raised coffee mug, eyes aglow with pride and excitement.

I rolled my eyes, but inside my heart did a little warm, fuzzy thing at the words. "Stop, you're going to make me cry before breakfast," I said, laughing. "I still can't believe it, Sab. It's like... none of it feels real.

She leaned into him, grinning. "Well, you better believe it, Fallon Moore, because you owned that stage last night-twice. And you've got the hardware to prove it!

We had lunch, reliving over last night: people we met, music, joy of dancing with friends. We laughed over Barry's dance moves, and then Sab reminded me about Taylor and me trading song ideas between dances, hollering over the music like it was our own mini studio session.

My coffee halfway in, my phone buzzed on the table. That brought me right back into the world. I looked down at the screen, my eyes wide. Niall Horan: Morning! How's the Grammy winner today? Got any free time today? I've got an idea.

My heart stopped at that, and Sab, ever observant shot a raised eyebrow my way. "Why do you look as though you have seen a ghost?

"It's... Niall," I said, really working hard not to sound too surprised. "He wants to hang out today. Says he has an 'idea'." I looked up at Sab who gave me a look of utter intrigue.

"Oh, you have to go!" she burbled, nudging her elbow into my arm. "This could be huge! I nodded, feeling the stirrers of excitement and nervousness. "I know, it's just... last night was unreal enough. Meeting Niall felt like the cherry on top, but now... " I breathed in deeply. "I guess I have to see what he has in mind.
