--- Prologue ---

Seven months have passed since Junji Onishi's defeat and the Easifa Milita's restructuring. At that time, the main players in the war underwent major changes. Stefan Alexander is now King of Thedam, with Dizarah as his advisor. Team Hex serves as his mercs and the former King and Queen are enjoying retirement. Lt. Rekka Nezar of the Easifa Milita was voted in as the new Grand Commander. The Militia was heading in a younger, brighter direction. Rubina Nezar is now a Militia Lieutenant. Her popularity has skyrocketed but she struggles with the looming effects of the Jinn mask. Aarav Vapesh, Ibrahim Amad, and Akeem Chai round out the remaining Lieutenant seats. Asi Abdallah, for assisting her uncle, yet accepting punishment and public scrutiny has been demoted to a militia scout. These people, for better or worse, are the new faces of the world.

What about our beloved group of heroes: Cain Ishihara, Mahaz Abad, and Dalia Volkov, the three wanderers? Or as the Public has dubbed them "Team Homura". After heroic battles in Min Alhazi, Zapharah City, and Thedam, they have become quite popular in the JHWA. They have defeated many powerful enemies, despite only being Class E Jinn Hunters. Many young hunters in training are inspired to be them, but the trio is currently locked in. With Homura's capture at the hands of Rossy, Cain has stopped at nothing to get information on the location of Yakedo Town. At first, he started hunting aggressive Jinn, thinking it would lead him to Rossy but it led to nothing. So, he decided to stick to his original idea and headed home. He, with the company of Amyr, and supervised by Dr. Chao Xhen and Tae Kagawa, would be returning to the Ishihara Family Farm to get advice and knowledge from Cain's Grandfather, Gojo Ishihara.

Mahaz on the other hand has been stuck in a standstill. Wanting to master blood magic as a human, he trains under the JHWA Chairman, Thadius DeKorn, to learn Plasma magic! After all his jobs, Mahaz was subjected to intense training by a man named TDK. Mahaz is determined to master Plasma magic and help Cain locate Homura's whereabouts. Rossy gave them a two-year time limit! Two years before Easifa is infested with Jinn. They had to get stronger and stop his plans.

Meanwhile, Dalia has been hellbent getting information on Jinn Hunter Zent Shigure. Zent, the man once her mentor is now possibly associated with Rossy. Her only leads are his family in Tanin and Jayson Aavers the Tamer, his close friend. The problem is, she can't get ahold of any of them! It's been six months and she's at a complete loss. There was only one solution: Go to the JHWA and vent to her boyfriend about it!

Well, that's another can of worms. Mahaz and Dalia never put a label on their relationship. One day when they were both training at the Bry dojo, they started teasing each other like usual about who could hunt a Jinn the fastest, and the next moment they just kissed! Things just escalated from there. They spent nights together laying in bed, went on long walks talking about everything dumb topic under the sun, and even did the haram acts! But yet, they never once called each other their significant other. She blames the life of Jinn Hunter. There is never a dull moment in Easifa and it never feels like the right time to bring it up! Cain isn't helping either. She used to call herself his wingman but since Mahaz has come around, he takes every opportunity to mess with her fragile psyche. Not that he has it any better! A literal goddess confessed to him but then was kidnapped, his ex-military girlfriend just buried the hatchet with him and a certain scientist girl has an obvious crush on the blond samurai. But this One Shot isn't about him, so let's save that for next time and focus on Dalia: the chosen champion of Shahb (Whom she rejected firmly!).

Dalia Volkov was stressed out of her mind. The E-level Jinn hunter groaned as she smacked her head against her friend's desk. Dalia is wearing a twist on her classic garb; cream-colored pants, brown boots, a black blouse, large brown bangles, and her signature cream-colored scarf. Her long auburn hair was tied into a messy bun and she wore round glasses "for the aesthetic" as she claims. Meanwhile next to her just trying to work is the JHWA's reliable receptionist and possible Sister-in-law to a terrorist, Sierra Shugadam. She has short pink hair with side-swept bangs, light blue eyes, and pointy elf ears. She wears a long grey pencil skirt, a blue blouse, and a gray blazer.
