"Granna, do you want me to help you cook?" I asked. Granna was busy preparing dinner while I was busy getting bored.
"I can do this by myself, Isha. You can take a rest." Granna's voice was so soothing.
"I'm not that tired, Granna. Academy's just for 4 hours."
"4 hours? Classes start at 9 and finishes at 3, right?"
"Granna, we have a couple of breaks. We can't overstrain ourselves or we might get injured or something."
"I have an idea." Granna spoke after tasting her stew. "Why don't you call Chase and invite her over for dinner?" She smiled sweetly.
I picked up the phone and dialed Chase's home number. "Hello?"
"Hello. You've reached the Stilton household. How may I help you?" Obviously, it was Chase's mom's voice.
"Hello, Mrs. Stilton. This is Isha speaking. May I speak with Chase?"
"ISHA!" She exclaimed. "Hello, sweetheart! How are you doing? I haven't heard from you for a while. Chase told me you're in Twinbrook for summer vacation?"
"Yes, Ma'am."
"It's so nice to hear from you. Ah! By the way, Chase is not home at the moment. She's out with her friend, Dean. You see, I invited my boyfriend over and Chase didn't like the idea."
"I see."
"You can call her by her phone."
"I will. Thank you so much." I hang up. "Granna... Chase is not home."
"Wait." Granna reached for her phone from her pocket and started dialing. "Hello, Chase, darling! This is Granna."
"Granna! She's out on a date!" I exclaimed.
"Oh! You're on a date, Isha said... Really? So, Isha is friends with your friend?"
"GRANNA!" I muttered.
"Would you like to have dinner here? Bring your friend along with you. I don't mind. After all, he's also Isha's friend."
My brows crossed as I groaned in disapproval.
"See you later then!" She cut off.
I heaved a huge sigh.
"Why? What's wrong?" Granna asked innocently.
"Nothing, Granna." I tried to smile so as not to worry her.

"So, you're also in The Academy?" Granna smiled inquiringly.
"Yes, ma'am. As a theatre student." Dean was acting formal, too formal perhaps that he was obviously uncomfortable with it.
"That's splendid!" Granna clapped her hands. "And please, call me Granna. Isha's friends call me Granna."
"Yes, Granna." He grinned.
"Granna, Dean here is my eye inside The Academy. I asked him to watch over Isha for me." Chase said.
"I'm not a baby, Chase." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm just afraid you might be bullied again just like in elementary school." She pouted.
"I'm not in elementary school anymore, Chase."
"Oh really?" she slyly said. Definitely, she was trying to tease me. I poked her waist but, she was able to avoid my childish gesture.
"Isha, would you mind playing the piano for us?" Granna asked.
