"What the fuck are you doing, Trevor! Saan mo ako dadalhin?" I glared at him.
I just woke up in his car and my hands were tied behind my back, ang maalala ko lang is nasa school ako preparing to go home.
"I'm sorry, Nyx, I'm just doing my job," saad niya.
My eyebrows furrowed in disbelief, "Anong katarantaduhan na naman ba ang pinasok mo at dinamay mo pa talaga ako?"
Tahimik lang siya at tuloy-tuloy sa pagmamaneho.
"I'm really sorry, Nyx," he repeated, his voice filled with regret.
"No, tangina mo, Trevor. Stop the fucking car right now, papatayin talaga kita!" Sigaw ko sa kanya, my voice trembling with anger.
I struggled to get free from my tied hands, masyadong mahigpit yung pagkakatali niya. It looks like he planned this well enough.
"Nyx, please calm down," he said, his voice pleading. "I didn't want to do this, I swear."
"You didn't want to?" I scoffed. "You tied me up and kidnapped me! What the hell is wrong with you? Gago ka ba?!
"I'm sorry, Nyx. I had to do it," he said, his voice almost a whisper. "It's not what it looks like."
"What the hell does that even mean?" I demanded, my anger reaching a boiling point. "What the fuck is going on?"
He glanced at me, "I can't tell you," he said. "But I promise, I'm not hurting you. I'm protecting you."
"Protecting me?" I laughed, the sound hollow and bitter. "You call this protecting me? You call 'kidnapping me and tying me up' protecting me? Alam mo Trevor, kapag nakawala ako dito, papatayin talaga kita!"
He didn't answer. He just kept driving, his silence echoing my own confusion and fear.
I didn't know what to believe. I didn't know what was going on. But one thing was for sure, I wasn't going to let Trevor get away with this.
Ilang minuto ang nakalipas, tinigil niya ang sasakyan sa harap ng isang old building. Parang abandoned warehouse dahil maraming sira. I noticed that many men in black were lined up, their faces impassive and their eyes watchful.
Tinignan ko siya nang masama habang pinapalabas ako sa sasakyan niya. "Ano to, Trevor! May kulto ka bang sinalihan at ako ang pinili mong iaalay ninyo? Grabe ka naman pala sa naging ex mo, tangina ka!" I spat, my voice dripping with sarcasm and anger.
Tahimik pa rin siya habang dinadala ako sa loob ng building, his face etched with guilt and regret. Tuloy-tuloy lang ako sa pagmumura at paninigaw sa kanya, I continued to berate him, my voice echoing through the desolate halls. "You're a traitor! You're a coward! You're a piece of shit!"
We stopped in front of a room, and he opened the door, pushing me inside. "Sorry talaga, Nyx," he looked at me with sympathy and remorse. He closed the door behind him, leaving me alone in the darkness.
"Gago! Buksan mo to!" Sigaw ko at pinagsisipa ang pinto.
"Don't be scared, dolce amore."
I froze, hearing that cold and intimidating voice. The tone in the endearment screams an Italian accent. I slowly turned to see a woman standing in the shadows, her silhouette outlined by a faint glow coming from the hallway.
Ito ba ang leader ng kulto nila? Bakit naman masyadong maganda, hindi niya bagay ang ganito. She's wearing a ruched black dress emphasizing her long legs, although naka-dequatro siya. There's a glass of wine in her hands, and a cigarette sa kabila.
She was smirking at me, her eyes gleaming with a dangerous light.
"Sino ka?" I asked, trying to keep my composure.
She grinned, her smile predatory and unsettling. "The one and only Hades Zephyr Primo."
Primo? I knew that family. It's an Italian Mafia. I overheard Dada and Papshy Vanity talking about her, they're the former Apex Predator mob. So hindi sila kulto, they're one of the major enemies of my family.
Pero anong kailangan nila sa akin? Bakit ako? Is it because they think that I'm an easy target?
"Bakit ako nandito? Kung balak mo akong patayin, pwes, I'm not as weak as you think. Lalaban ako, duh!" Hamon ko sa kanya.
I saw a smirk of amusement tugged on the corner of her lips, tumayo siya at lumapit sa akin. She's tall but only a few inches taller than me, matangkad din kaya ako, I got it from Dada.
"You're a lot braver than I expected," she said, her voice a silken whisper. "But you're still just a pawn in a much bigger game."
"You-" I was cut off silencing me on the next thing she did.
She leaned closer, her breath warm against my ear. "And I'm afraid you're about to be played."
My heart pounded in my chest, my fear rising with each passing second.
I gasped when she encircled her arms around my waist, only to remove the tie from my hands.
"You're so tense, dolce amore. Calm down, panindigan mo naman yung sinabi mong 'you're not weak', I can see your bravery but you're not projecting it enough," she said, her voice a smooth, seductive purr. I stepped back until I felt the wall behind me. She followed my every move, her hand going up above my head.
Anong sabi niya, dolce amore daw amputa.
"Excuse me lang ha, may pangalan ako for your information."
"Shh... how come your name Nyx means night but you light up my world?" She chuckled at her own joke, a playful smirk dancing on her lips. It was so corny that I almost rolled my eyes, but I was too frustrated to find it amusing.
"Putang-" I tried to retort, but she cut me off again, her gaze piercing through me, making me glare at her.
"Your other name, Valor, I like that more. It means bravery," she continued, her tone shifting to something more serious.
Her pointing finger lifted my chin up to meet her almond eyes, her scent alluring, a mix of expensive perfume and something wild and untamed.
"Get away from me," bulong ko, my voice barely a tremor.
"I can't," she replied, her smile widening.
"What do you mean you can't?!" I demanded.
"I can't get away from you now, dolce amore. And you can't get away from me as well, you're mine now. I'm changing my mind about my plans for you. Vodka produced a Goddess, a Goddess that is perfect for me." she laughed out loud, the sound echoing through the room.
I gasped, my jaws clenched. "Isa kang putangin-"
Before I could finish the curse, she slammed her lips against mine, her hand gripping my face tightly. I kept struggling under her grip, but she was too strong for me. Kulang pa pala yung training sa akin ni Dada sa mixed martial arts.
The kiss was forceful, demanding, and utterly unexpected. It tasted of wine and cigarettes, a strange combination that somehow managed to be intoxicating.
I felt a surge of anger and fear, but I was also strangely captivated. Her touch was electrifying, her scent is intoxicating. And I was trapped in her web.
"Valor," she whispered against my lips, her voice a husky murmur. "You're mine now."
"I'm not yours," I gasped, my voice muffled by her lips. "I'm not anyone's, hindi ako bagay para lang maangkin ng kahit sino. I'M NOT FUCKING YOURS!" I screamed at her face.
She chuckled, a low, throaty sound that sent shivers down my spine. "You're mine, dolce amore," she repeated, her voice laced with a dangerous confidence. "AKIN KA LANG! I'm going to make sure of that." She pulled back, her eyes burning into mine. "You're going to be my weapon," she whispered. "My queen of shadows."
I felt a wave of nausea wash over me. I didn't want to be her weapon, her pawn.
Tanginang yan!
