Chapter 17

"I don't know how long you will keep me here, dolce amore. I mean, you could've just asked, you don't have to force me to be with you. Like... I'm willing naman." She winked at me.

I rolled my eyes, "Asa ka, as if naman... you think I like you? I fucking hate you."

She shrugged and laughed. Baliw talaga oh.

"I can see that you still haven't told them about me. It's also sweet of you to protect me from your siblings."

I raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me? I'm not protecting you from them."

"I have heightened senses, dolce amore. I've heard everything outside that door, when you were talking to Vaughn. It's so sweet of you to stop her from punishing me. Sinasabi ko na nga ba, are you realizing now what I've said to you?"

I crossed my arms, tinignan ko siya ng masama. Prenteng nakaupo lang siya sa kama while I sat on the couch facing her.

"It's the other way around, Primo. Do you think I can betray my own family? Fuck you!"

"Go on, dolce amore. You don't need my permission to fuck me." Kumindat pa siya. "I mean, damn, is that why you came here with just that? You're smoking hot."

She pointed at my nighties. Gabi na kasi, I decided to check on her before I go to my room.

Tumayo ako at lumapit sa kanya, akmang sasampalin ko sana nung biglaang bumukas yung pintuan. My eyes widened seeing Vlad, gulat din siyang nakatingin sa aming dalawa.

"Vlad? What are you doing here?"

"Am I interrupting something?" Taka niyang tanong, I saw a sly smirk on her lips.

I rolled my eyes, lumapit ako sa kanya at tinulak palabas. I shut the behind me and locked it before pulling Vlad at a far distant.

"What's with that? May ginagawa kayo no?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

Sinapok ko ang ulo niya. "Gago, wala! Bakit ka ba kasi nandito? Haven't I told you na ako lang dapat ang pupunta dito dahil baka magtaka sina Dada?" I whisper-yelled.

She sighed. "Actually, it's about Hiraya."

"Okay? What about her?"

"She's worried about the disappearance of her sister. Baka nga hindi siya papasok bukas just to look for her sister. Pinuntahan ko siya kanina." She said concerned.

"Teka lang ha, Vlad. Umamin ka nga sa akin. May namamagitan ba sa inyo ng best friend ko?"

"Wala ah!" Deny niya pa. "OA mo Ate, baka kayo ni Ate Zeph?"

"Don't fucking change the subject, ikaw ang tinatanong ko!"

"Ikalma mo, wala nga sus." She rolled her eyes.

"Then bakit ka nandito? Anong sasabihin mo sa kanya?"

"I just want to inform Ate Zeph that her sister is alright but she seems bothered about her missing sister. Kaya balak kong mag voice record sana si Ate Zeph para ipakita sa kapatid niya. Alam ko namang ayaw niya rin mag-alala si Hiraya, I'm actually doing her a favor."

"Wow, si Vlad. Kailan ka pa naging VERY concerned sa isang tao? As far as I know, you don't give a fuck to other people. Hindi ako tanga, Vlad. I can see that you're in love with my best friend."

Napaawang ang bibig niya, she stayed silent before heaving a sigh. "Oo na... oo na Ate, tangina naman eh."

Ayan na nga ba ang sinasabi ko eh.

"Itigil mo yan, sinasabi ko sayo, Vlad."

"Ate naman, you know that I can't control this shit. I can't control what I feel about her. Despite knowing that she's a Primo, her family is an enemy. I can't fucking stop it, Ate. I like her. The fact that she's not even aware of the dark side behind her. She's innocent." She rubbed her temples.

Ngayon ko lang siya makitang stressed and bothered sa isang bagay, carefree and nonchalant pa naman tong taong ito.

Kinabukasan, first time kaming magkasama sa school ni Vlad. Aba siyempre kasi kasama namin si Zenith. Nasa harap ko silang dalawa, and I can see how their closeness developed. Nagmukha tuloy akong third wheel dito.

I can't even face my best friend properly, since I held her sister captive.

"Excuse me lang, guys. CR lang me." Iniwan ko muna sila at dumiretso sa comfort room.

Nang biglang may humablot sa kamay ko at pinapasok sa isang vacant room. Sasapakin ko na sana nung nakita kong si Trevor, pero dahil siya nga, sinapak ko pa rin siya. Gulat na napatingin siya sa akin habang hinahaplos ang kanyang namumulang pisngi. Ngayon ko lang ulit siya makita.

"What the fuck are you doing, Trevor?"

He looked around first before he spoke, "I know that you're keeping our Boss."

My eyebrows furrowed. "So hinila mo ako talaga ako dito para akusahan ako ng ganyan? Don't blame me for-"

Did he just cut me off?

"Ikaw ang huling taong kasama ng Boss namin bago niya utusang umalis ang mga kasama ko."

Nakipagtitigan ako sa kanya, I gritted my teeth. "May mobsters na umatake sa aming dalawa sa cafe. Of course, tumakas na ako. Eh yang Boss niyo, aba malay ko nagpaiwan. Baka sila ang kumuha sa kanya, so don't you fucking conclude na nasa akin ang Boss niyo. The hell I care about her, nagpapatayan na nga kami bago kami ma-ambush."

His eyes softened. Lumapit siya sa akin hinawakan ang mga kamay ko. "Nyx, let me grab this chance to explain myself and apologize for what I did."

I snatched my hand away from him and glared. "There's no need."

Aalis na sana ako nung pinigilan niya ulit ako. "I still love you, Nyx."

Pagkatapos niya akong kidnapin at ipain sa Boss niya? Dami niyang kasalanan sakin. Tangina niya!

"Okay? Well, I don't. So excuse me lang ha." Mabilis na lumabas ako at tumakbo sa comfort room dahil ihing ihi na talaga ako.

After I was done, I washed and stared at my reflection through the mirror.

Nung pumikit ako, it was Zephyr's face that flashed. I double locked the door and windows at the attic. I can't let her go- Wait, parang may mali, dapat... I can't let her escape. Ganun dapat, amputa.

I don't know how long I'm going to keep her there, pero as long as she's still under my control, she won't do anything yet.

She's head over heels for me. I'm going to use that on my advantage. I'll pretend that I'm also into her, as easy as that until I can break her.

I'm going to make the first move in this war, hindi ko hihintayin na siya ang mauunang makakagawa. She despises my family that much.

Papatunayan ko that I am deserving to be a part of this family, The Antonov. I'm considered the weakest. The blood of Hades Zephyr Primo is my ticket for earning merit.

Although, I feel sorry for Zenith. Good thing that Zephyr did not involve her sister in the Mafia. Considering that Zenith doesn't even know about these is such an advantage. I mean hindi ko naman talaga papatayin kapatid niya, I'm just going to place her where she is supposed to be.

Since buhay din naman ng pamilya ko ang nakasalalay dito. Zephyr is dangerous, I'm still discovering kung ano pa ang kaya niyang gawin.

Alam kong kapag nalaman nina Dada and Papshy about her staying in the mansion. They would surely kill her the moment they figured it out. I can't let that happen. I have other plans to dispatch Zephyr.
