Chapter 15

NYX

She's starting a war that will end her.

Nakahanda na ang kamay ko sa nakatagong baril under my skirt. She's smirking at me, and I'm doing the same thing.

Yung ibang customers nagpapanic na dahil pinalibutan yung buong cafe ng mga tauhan niya. Although siya lang naman ang nandito sa loob, walang pumasok na tauhan niya.

"You, fucker..." I whispered.

"You're hot when you do that, dolce amore." She winked at me.

I kinda heard Vi in her voice, Vi from Arcane is literally my fictional wife.

Tumayo siya at in-offer yung kamay niya sa akin, nakipagtitigan ako ng malalim sa mga mata niya. I gritted my teeth as I quickly stood up and pinned her against the wall, nakatutok yung baril sa ulo niya.

Her eyes widened at what I did, I smirked at her as I gripped her neck. Naalarma naman yung mga tauhan niya at akmang papasok pero pingilan niya silang pumasok with her signal.

My finger found the trigger, "Who's under the grip right now, Primo?"

I saw a slight smirk tugged on her lips, "Damn, dolce amore. I like this side of you more than ever."

I smiled. Hinigpitan ko ang pagkakahawak ko sa leeg niya. "Let them go."

Napasinghap ako nung pinagpalit niya ang position namin in just the blink of an eye. Her arm snaked around my waist as her knees backed me up against the wall.

Her free hand caressed my cheek. "Oh, dolce amor-"

Bigla kong sinipa ang tiyan niya at sinapak ang ilong niya, gulat na gulat siyang napatingin sa akin at hinawakan ang dumudugong ilong niya.

Tinutok ko ulit yung baril ko sa kanya, I shot her thighs making her drop to her knees. Doon na pumasok ang dalawang tauhan niya, but I didn't let my guard down.

May binulong siya sa isang tauhan niyang lumapit sa kanya. Pinanood ko ang bawat galaw nila, pinakawalan nila yung mga customers and staff. Umalis na rin yung mga tauhan niya hanggang sa dalawa lang kaming naiwan dito.

"You want a fight? Sure I'll give you one." She snickered as she looked up at me.

Tangina!

Tumilapon ba naman yung baril ko dahil mabilis ang galaw niyang nasipa ang kamay kong nakahawak doon. Nakatayo na siya ngayon kahit dumudugo yung hita niya. May nilabas siyang baril at tinapon sa gilid.

"You think you can just walk away? You think you can just forget about what you did? About me? About us?"

Anong us? Walang tayo, Zephyr! Delulu talaga ito kahit kailan.

"I'm not afraid of you, Zephyr. I'm not going to let you control me."

She lunged at me, her fist aimed at my jaw. I ducked, the force of her blow sending a shockwave through my body. I scrambled back, my eyes darting around the cafe, searching for an escape route. But Zephyr was relentless, her fists a blur of motion.

"You can't escape me, dolce amore. Never again." she snarled, her breath hot on my neck. "Ang I'm going to make sure of that."

She landed a blow to my shoulder, sending a jolt of pain through my arm. I stumbled back, my breath catching in my throat. I needed to think fast.

"Tumahimik ka!" I shouted.

I ducked under her arm, dodging a wild swing. I sprinted towards the back of the cafe, weaving through tables and chairs, my lungs burning with exertion. I could hear her enraged shouts behind me, her footsteps pounding on the tiled floor.
