Chapter 18

HADES

The lengthy hours without the presence of Valor are killing me. In just the blink of an eye, ako ang bihag niya when it's supposed to be the other way around. It's just so funny to be thinking about it.

I can see that she had gained more courage, and especially strength. When we were fighting, she displayed a lot of movements that I had recognized. I know that Vanity trained her, that's how Antonov fights. Pero ang alam kong mas nakakuha nun ay si Vaughn. Although Valor had unique fighting skills that I really do commend her for it. Talagang pinaghandaan niya ang susunod niyang laban, after she escaped from me.

It's getting dark already. I heard footsteps outside the door, hinintay kong may pasok. Valor entered swiftly and silently. May hawak siyang tray with lots of food. In the morning, she brought me breakfast and snacks. It's been eight hours since she hasn't visited me again. It's Monday today, so she must've been to school.

Nung lunch, si Vaughn ang nagdala ng food. She left immediately after, I think she's really doing her sister a favor. Kahit kitang-kita ko naman talaga sa mga mata niya gusto akong patayin.

The fact that Vanity and Vodka were just outside the door. I'm just glad that Valor hasn't told them about me, I'm not in the right state to fight with them yet. I have to do something about Valor first.

"Alam kong gutom ka na, kumain ka na. Nasa school ako, that's why I haven't been around." She explained.

"So you're keeping me here just to feed me and watch me eat? I'm not speaking for myself lang ha, pero you're too soft for your captive. Ang payo ko lang sayo since I think this is your first time..." I paused when she glared at me, I chuckled.

"Tumahimik ka na at kumain, huwag ka nang dumagdag. Stress na nga yung tao." Inis niyang saad sa akin.

"Oh, what's the problem?" I asked while munching.

"Wala! It's none of your business." She rolled her eyes.

Ayan, ganito lang kami lagi and it's been three days since I've been here. Bardagulan lang between us. Since she frequently visits me during the first and second day, it's the weekend and ako talaga ang inaatupag niya dito.

"It's my business now, since you made me your business right now." I smirked.

She stayed silent, I watched her carefully. It looks like she's in deep thoughts, ano kaya ang binabalak nitong babaeng to.

"I need you to cooperate with me, regarding Zenith. I know that she's your sister, but she's my best friend too. Small world, I know. Nag-aalala na si Zenith because of your sudden disappearance. You didn't involve your innocent sister in this bloody war to protect her and I respect you for that part. Now, this is what we're going to do. It's going to be a win-win situation. Help me make her believe that you're totally free and won't be able to visit her just yet." She explained.

The mentioning of my sister made me at edge. I almost forgot about what she would think while I was gone, of course talagang mag-aalala iyon.

"How?"

May nilabas siyang isang phone from her pocket. "This is a new phone, use that one to contact her."

Iniabot niya sa akin yung phone. I immediately contacted my sister, well I memorized her number.

I waited as the call was picked up, I heard her voice from the other side of the line.

"Li'l sissy? It's your Ate Hades."

I heard her gasped. "Ate?! Where have you been, I've been calling your phone and you haven't visited me during the weekend. I started to get worried."

"Don't worry, Zenith. I'm totally fine, marami lang talaga akong inaasikaso. Stop worrying na about me ha, I'll come visit you soon when I get the chance."

"Hmm... basta, Ate ha. Lagi kang mag-iingat."

"Likewise, Zenith. Oh sige na, you should rest. You have classes pa tomorrow, alright? Goodnight, bye!" I heard her bidding goodbye before I ended the call.

When I turned to Valor, she was just silently watching me. I gave back the phone to her which surprised her.

"You should keep it, para di ka mabaliw dito na walang kausap." She said making me laugh.

She's too cute and soft to be a captor. Hindi niya talaga bagay ang mga ganito.

"You're enough to entertain me, dolce amore."

She rolled her eyes at my remark. "What if i-tape ko na lang yung bibig mo no? Dami mong ebas eh."

"That's a kink."

I saw a disgusted expression from her. "Kung wala ka nang ibang matinong sasabihin, just shut up. Paki-ubos na nga lang yang food para makaalis na ako dito."

I purposely eat slowly, at alam kong napansin niya yun dahil pinapakita na niya ang pagkainip niya habang naghihintay.

My eyes scanned her whole, she's wearing a tank top and short shorts. She's always sexy and hot naman pero damn right now it escalated.

Actually...

Kayang-kaya ko namang tumakas dito, like makakatakas na ako sa first day ko pa lang dito. I'm just enjoying her company for awhile, she thought she held me captive when in fact I'm the one who's going to win her over.

Our family has been considered as "kinakatukan" noon because of how ruthless the previous leaders were, including my father. I don't know if I should count as ruthless, I'm nice and considerate kaya.

"Hoy!" My eyes darted to her. "Kanina pa kita tinatawag, natutulala ka diyan. Bastos talaga nito, may tinatanong yung tao."

Napatawa ako. "Grabe ba? Tao ka pa pala?"

I saw how her demeanor changed into anger. "Ano sa tingin mo? Ikaw tong mas mukhang aso sa ating dalawa."

"Teka teka, hindi pa tapos yung sasabihin ko kasi, pinapangunahan mo naman. Also, ang sakit mo naman magsalita, dolce amore."

"Well? What do you expect?" She rolled her eyes.

"I mean... don't you find me attractive? Grabe ka naman sa mukhang aso."

"Ugaling aso kasi dapat yun."

I smirked. "So you do find me attractive?"

"May sinabi ako? You're so delulu talaga, Zephyr. Magsapakan na lang tayo dito."

"Sure, dito sa bed, why not?" Kumindat ako sa kanya.

She sighed loudly. "Gago!"

Padabog niyang kinuha yung pinagkainan ko at umalis, binalibag pa yung kawawang pintuan.

I stared at the phone she gave me. I immediately dialed Stella's number.

"Hello?"

"Stella... it's me, Hades. Prepare the men, and our weapons. In just a few days, magaganap na ang giyera sa mga Antonov. I'm currently in their nest. Don't worry about me though, I'm actually grabbing this chance."

"Hades, thank God, you're alive! I didn't let the men rest para lang mahanap ka. It's been three days with that Antonio girl that you're supposed to bring here." I heard her panic.

"Oo nga, kaya ikalma mo. I'm totally fine here, just do my orders for now." I commanded.

"Okay, sure. I will prepare the men, basta lagi kang mag-iingat diyan. You're closer and under them, be vigilant."

"Yeah yeah, bye for now." I ended the call.

Oh, Valor really made a mistake for just giving me this phone.
