Alexandre POV

I was in a deep sleep, dreaming about the prettiest girl I went to school with. Her name was Alicia. She had dark brown, almost black, and caring brown eyes. I dreamed about when she and I were lab partners in science. I don't think I've ever been to school that much when we were partners. We were talking about meeting each other after school.

Until my door creaked open.

"Alexandre, wake up, please. It's time for breakfast," my dad said, sitting on my bed and smoothing my hair.

"Uhm," I mumble as a response.

"Come on, we're all waiting for you. You can go back to sleep after," He negotiates.

"Fine," I say, slowly moving out of the bed.

The blanket is so warm and I want to bring it with me. I stumble out of the bed and walk to my own bathroom. My dad sitting on my bed waiting for me.

"Are you going downstairs or are you waiting for me?" I question.

"I'm waiting for you. You might get lost in the house," He says, smiling.

I glance at myself in the mirror, I've never looked at my best after waking up. I had terrible bedhead and pillow marks on my face. I rinsed my face with water and apparently, I drooled in my sleep. It Must have been because of Alicia.

"Do I need to get dressed for breakfast or not?" I ask curiously. When Jeremy was home for breakfast, I had to look nice for it. It was the stupidest thing I've heard of. "I want to be comfy when I go back to bed,"

He lets out a chuckle, "No you don't, but please don't look like a homeless man, look like you want to eat,"

"Okay then, I'm ready to eat," I say excitedly.

The two of us walk down the long staircase. It's a nice house, with large chandlers and high ceilings. We enter the dining room and my brothers are sitting, waiting for us. Miguel signals me to sit beside him.

Breakfast was served and there was tons of food: pancakes, eggs, sausages, and so much more. I dig in like a pig and stuff food down my throat.

"How did you sleep, Alex," Miguel asked.

I finish chewing my food and look at him. " It was the best sleep ever. The bed is so comfy, and I love the furniture you chose for it," I compliment.

"That makes me so happy. I'm glad you loved it," He says, smiling. "Do you want help unpacking your suitcases?"

"That would be great, "I thank him.

I'm done eating my food, which was amazing, I grab my plate and walk to the kitchen, until my dad interrupted me, "Alexandre, what are you doing?" He questions.

"Putting my dish in the sink and then washing it," I answer confused.

"You don't have to worry about that," He says, "Come sit back down,"

I walk over to the table and place my plate back on it. I sit down and look around the table.

"Before you go back to sleep, I want to talk to you about some rules we have in the house," He says, "I'm sorry if these seem unreasonable to you, but it's for your safety,"

I look at the people coming to get my plate and thank them.

"One, please respect everyone in the household, that includes me, your brothers, and the staff. Two, good grades are expected, your 60s back with your mother aren't allowed, but you'll not be working either. And the last main one is always listening to me, it could be for your safety or it's just a dumb idea," He lists off the rules, "Questions?"
