San

Ofcourse San's team has won yet again, like they always had.

Night time has come, and the first day was slowly coming to an end.

The very last game being held is the women's volleyball. Jhinena's team was taking the lead during their final round.

"Last 2 minutes!" the speaker says in enthusiasm.

San along with Yunho and Jongho were watching the game intensely. Their score had a tie and if one of the team scores a point they would automatically become the winner.

"1 minutes left!" the whistle blowed.

The trio were biting their nails at the interesting last few seconds of the game.

"30 seconds!"

The opposite team had saved the spike coming from one of Jhinena's teammates.

"10 seconds!"

The ball flies over the net, right in Jhinena's direction.

"5.. 4.. 3.. 2.."

San continued to bite on his nails as Jhinena jumps high and spikes the ball to the other side.

"1!" just in time, the other team couldn't save the spike and they ended up losing the game.

The entire audience started going nuts, especially San and Yunho who started shaking Jongho's body out of pure joy while jumping up and down. The duo were most likely louder than the entire crowd itself, their ear bleeding high pitched screams triggered everyone's ears.

"And the winners are Fierce Tigresses!" the speaker claimed loudly through the microphone.

San turned to the team, seeing Jhinena sprint in his direction while jumping. He met her halfway as they held their hands together, hopping up and down while screaming loudly.

"Oh my god, I killed that!" Jhinena happily exclaimed

"I knew you could do it!" San cheered as they jumped around in circling, looking like siblings rooting for each other.

"You did amazing!!" Yunho joined them, he was more overjoyed than they were.

Right then did the band play the team's victory song, congratulating them through their microphones.

The team gathered together for a group photo taken by Jisung for the journalism team, wide smiles on their faces knowing they won on the very first day of the intramurals.

San admired them from afar, his attention being caught by one of the teammates. Someone eerily familiar.

His heart dropped to his stomach when he realized he wasn't seeing things the day he thought he had seen his ex in the passing crowds.

She was actually on the team.

Miya was the new member Jhinena was talking about.

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck...

No this can't be happening, not now.

He steals one quick glance at her, she was already grinning his way. His body went rigid, almost couldn't move from his spot. How did she even manage to know which university he goes to? Is this on purpose?

San internally panicked that he went straight to Yunho who was checking up on Mingi by the band. The male couldn't help but try to blend in, strangely wanting to be near Wooyoung.

Wooyoung side eyed him as he packed his guitar since the event was coming to and end and they were already packing up.

"What's up with you?" Mingi laughed lightly without having any idea what was going on.

The words died in San's throat, he couldn't take off his eyes from the team as much as he'd like to ignore them.

Miya was just that kind of person San didn't want to be around anymore, not only becuase she was his ex but also for some toxic traits. She and Stanley would make a great couple.

Wooyoung blankly stared in the direction he was looking, ofcourse he could only spot Jhinena in the distance. Who else would San look at? But the expression on his face was saying otherwise. Like he wasn't seeing what San sees.

Yunho glanced over at the team, finding nothing that could've bothered San this much. The poor male looked like he had seen a ghost, the blood completely drained from his face.

"Are you okay, San-ah?" the taller questions, worried.

San could only shake his head, he turned mute at the moment.

"You're probably just tired, do you want to head back to the dorms?" Yunho approached him, immediately covering the view infront of him.

"Don't you see her, too?" San abruptly asked.

"Stop it, you're scaring me. Wooyoung do you think you could walk him back to the dorms? Since you're already on the way." Yunho called out to Wooyoung who was already making his way back to the dorms.

He stopped halfway down the stairs, glancing back at San and him.

San immediately shook his head, "No it's okay, I'm fine. I can walk on my-"

"Less talking and start walking." Wooyoung dismissively said.

Yunho had to slightly push San just so he could move, making him stumble his way down to walk with Wooyoung.

The entire walk to the conplex building was dead silent. San felt too awkward to say a word, and he felt like a jerk for it.

Wooyoung on the other hand was always quiet, he didn't mind the silence but it felt suffocating this time.

San could feel the tension between them, something didn't feel right. Because since when did Wooyoung start acting like they don't know each other? He has been so distant today for some unknown reason.

"What was your relationship with Miya?" Wooyoung asks, catching San completely off guard just as they reached the door to his dorm.

A pure terrified expression on his face, "How do you know about me and her?"

"I saw the way you look at her, pure horror." Wooyoung simply says, shivers were sent down his spine at how calm Wooyoung delivered that sentence.

San took the spare keys from his pockets, "She's my ex.."

Wooyoung calmly nodded as San unlocked the front door.

"How do you know her?" San couldn't hold himself back from asking.

He frowns when Wooyoung started walking away without looking back as he says;

"Well, who did you think spread those cheating rumors about me in the first place?"
