This day couldn't go much worse if it wanted to right now,first Jeongin was drugged which would have never happened if it wasn't for Seungmin leaving the room. And now Seungmin wants to pick a fight with Felix? This is just getting too much out of hand.

"See,if it was someone like Jinyoung,he would have that cocky attitude and come over to me,if Felix was like Taemin,he would have tried to twist every word and try to sidetrack you. Your family doesn't define who you are and if you think that way about Yongbok then you must think I'm a killer" I better not hear those words come out of his mouth,that would be it for me.

As it is,I'm not sure how we are going to continue to be partners with the way this is heading. "Well you shot your father didn't you? Killed him on the spot..." His eyes are down at the ground,I was starting to stride across the room to smack him but Felix already beat me to it leaving a hand mark on his face.

I've never seen Felix pissed but I'm going to stay out of it for now. Why should I protect my best friend...or maybe my ex best friend now. I don't even know who Seungmin is right now the way that he's acting,he's never been like this. The Seungmin I know would tell me what I've been saying all along...I'm not like my father,I don't have his lifestyle or habits,I'm too fragile for that.

"What the fuck is wrong with you Seungmin? This is your best friend that has stuck through thick and thin and you're willing to throw it all away for what? Because of me? Because I have drug dealing family members? They're twisted,sick in the heads, but if you can't see that in me,fine just don't go dragging Hyunjin into it." Felix snaps as I see the fire in his eyes,the living anger burning in his soul

Seungmin's eyes narrow "But he's sticking up for you,this is Hyunjin showing pity for you and protecting you like a child not some kind of love or whatever you think you got between you two. But if you want to make it about just you,why don't we start with your darling siblings?"

"Or we can start by shutting your mouth" Felix pops his neck before walking over to Jeongin taking his pulse before I grab him gently by the arm "Hm?" His dark brown eyes met mine as I felt his body relax a little bit against mine. I lean in closer as I whisper in his ear

"After this,meet me in the hallway and don't let him get to you too badly,this is all to get a rise out of you so you can be like your siblings. Lashing out,yelling,fighting,I know you have a different image of your siblings because they protected you from the drug dealing life,but that doesn't mean that he'll ever accept that fact"

I stand up before walking out letting the cards land where they may.

I let Hyunjin's words sink in for a moment before facing Seungmin again, seeing the annoyance and rage in his eyes. "None of us are innocent in the end Seungmin,everyone holds sins and trauma in our lives,it's how we carry that trauma that is the difference."

I look at Jeongin again, seeing that he's starting to stir a bit but the tension is too dense in the air,too hard to ignore right now "So what you're saying is I have anger issues or unresolved issues? You're not a therapist Yongbok,just an actor and you're playing a role just like everyone else here. We are nothing but pawns to this guy but who's playing us more, you or him?"

Seungmin moves closer to me before Jeongin wakes up with a grunt causing me to go over to Jeongin instead "Hey Yangie,do you feel alright?" If it was something like a hallucinogenic he would be confused,dizzy and doesn't know where he is,but if it was an anesthetic then he would just be light headed or groggy. Taemin made sure I knew the difference by injecting it into me and tested me.

"Just a bit tired still,how long was I out for? Seungmin,did you ever find out what that dragging noise was?" So he remembers Seungmin leaving the room which means someone was hiding from the opposite direction injecting it into his neck. I look at Jeongin's neck for a moment,a clean injection mark but very subtle so whoever it is must have done this a lot.

I wonder if they did the same thing to us to get us into the building? "He'll be fine in a moment,Seungmin stay in the room with him,I'm going to go see where Hyunjin went" I walk out of the room to see Hyunjin at the end of the hallway looking out the bar covered window. "You wanted to speak to me?"

"I think for now we should watch Seungmin a bit more,I don't know if this is the final straw on his PTSD after getting captured by Jinyoung before or not but if it is,it'll get worse from here on out. Don't take what he said seriously,what he sees is what he remembers and saw on the case file. He doesn't want to believe anything else" Hyunjin sighs before his eyes settle on the ground.

The words 'not some kind of love or whatever you think you got between you two.' still rings through my ears. Am I that obvious about my crush on Hyunjin? I mean I didn't think so but I shouldn't even be thinking about that,he's someone that I have been locked up with for 48 hours and also school mates but I don't think that he remembers that.

There's a lot of secrets to be unlocked but I want to be the one to slowly unlock them instead of it being shattered on the floor. "About what Seungmin said about what we are forming together..He just doesn't like the fact of any relationship. He should be the one to tell you this but he's such a closed off person that I know that he never will" HYunjin paused for a moment.

"He never will say what?" I ask him before he deeply sighs before his eyes meet mine making my heart feel as if its skipping beats. The tension remains as I can tell he wants to bring up something other than this but neither of us are brave enough to say it yet.

"His lover,Bahng Chahn,was killed at Seungmin's old apartment. At the time,I think we were either chasing Jinyoung's case or we were chasing a serial killers case" Basically the same thing as I know Jinyoung has claimed a few lives or at least what Taemin let slip out one night

Hyunjin continues "the killer went to his apartment and killed Chahn right in front of him as he came home,slit his throat but he didn't catch him in time as he wanted to say goodbye." My heart dropped like that,sometimes the way grief comes out of people can vary in emotions just like the way love can be expressed without a word.
