Evary sat in the living room, surrounded by memories. She held a photo album, its pages brimming with images from her past. Each picture told a story, each snapshot a moment frozen in time.

As she flipped through the album, she paused on a photo taken on a sunny afternoon. It captured her and her mother in the backyard, laughing and carefree, a photo taken in this very house, many years ago. Her smile widened as she looked at it. She recalled the memories tied to that time - the laughter, the joy, the love.

Evary's eyes continued to linger on the picture, her smile growing. She ran her fingers over the image of her and her mother, the warmth of the memory flooding her.

"This house," she whispered to herself, running her fingers gently over the picture, "Mom and I had many memories here."

This house is her childhood home. Years ago, they had to sell it to cover the bills after she almost drowned by accident in a river. But now fortunately, she had the house back. She's home.

Evary chuckled at the memory, a bittersweet tinge to her laugh. "Mom was a fantastic swimmer," she murmured.

And then there was Evary, clumsily attempting to mimic her mother's graceful strokes, only to end up sinking like a rock.

As her thoughts dwelt on that incident, she shuddered slightly. The memory of her mother's panicked face as she pulled her out of the water flashed before her eyes. Another few seconds and she would've been a goner.

After spending a few more minutes indulging in memories, Evary gently closed the photo album and placed it carefully back on the shelf in her office.

Feeling the need for some fresh air, she decided to step outside and into her garden. The cool night air, and the peaceful atmosphere, might help to clear her mind.

She walked silently through the garden, her footsteps muffled by the soft grass. The moonlight played on the leaves creating a soothing symphony of shadows that danced in the night. The flowers, bathed in the silvery light, seemed to glisten like jewels.
