(Akk Pov)

*"It hurts...it hurts, please make it stop," I wrapped my arms around my knees. Holding my body close to itself. The pain screamed within me and I wanted it all to go away. Please, please make it stop. My eyes were closed tightly from the overwhelming pain. My hands shook and shivered at the slightest air flow.

I opened my shaky eyes and looked up. With all my strength, I moved my head. An unbearable wave of pain shot through my spine. I sobbed out a cry. It was too much, please help me. I wanted to call out but no one was there. No one would care because it's me. Warm tears ran down my cheeks and down my neck. I let my back lean against an old, rusty desk. My legs uncoiled with my arms and rested on the hardwood floor. My eyes met with a small, rounded window that was out of my reach. I could see the moon rising into the night sky. My body ached with any movement. My head felt like it was going to explode.

"Please...please...help me," I cried out, knowing no one would answer. Then I heard something, like it was running across the floor. The floorboards creaked as the unknown creature. I tried to find out where it was coming from but I couldn't move. Then the noise stopped and I couldn't hear anything anymore. A loud ringing sound filled my ears and I whimpered in pain. My hands grabbed the side of my head, over my ears. I wanted it to stop but nothing would make it stop.

Then something walked out behind a box, it was a black cat. The cat was small, most likely a kitten. My eyes looked towards it. It looked skinny, really skinny. Was it hungry? Poor thing, is locked up here with me. The little one slowly walked closer and closer to me. I didn't move even if I wanted to. It sniffed my hand and did a little broken 'meow'. My tear stained face smiled.

"I thought I was alone but now you're here," I said in a tiny voice, even talking hurt. I wanted to cry but there were no more tears to cry. The kitten laid right next to me and put its head on my right leg. I lifted my left hand and slowly reached for the little cat. I saw the cat flinch in my hand. The cat came to my hand and rubbed against it. I smiled, something I never did in a long time. It was very skinny and I could tell the kitten wasn't healthy.

We both sat in the darkness of the old room. It had a terrible stench but you get used to it after awhile. The kitten curled up in a little ball against my hand. I was always alone until now, we both were until we met each other. Even if it's just a kitten. I rested my head back on the old desk and closed my eyes. I turned my head to the side and slowly went to sleep.

I suddenly woke up, sweating and my breathing was troubled. I gasped for air, grabbing my chest. Sleeping was even more painful than being awake. The memories flood back to me, the ones I wanna forget. I tried to calm my breathing by thinking of something happy. But I can't stop replaying everything bad that happened to me. Then my thoughts were shut out by a little 'meow'. It was the black kitten, looking up to me. I closed my eyes for a few seconds and reopened them, being calmer. The kitten was sitting, moving his tail side to side.

"You also have no one?" I asked it, like the kitten would answer. "Were alike, you know," I didn't make it a question cause I already knew the answer. We both are alone in this room. We have no one but each other. We need to stick to each other.

"I think I'm gonna name you, Night," I said and our eyes met. The kitten stood up and meowed again. I guess it's like its name. I smiled softly when tears fell. I just wanted to leave and be happy. Why is my life like this? What did I do to deserve this? My body was weighted and I couldn't move. All my strength was almost gone. I could only move my head and that is still a struggle. Slowly things became clouded each day when I sat here.
