Mouth Later
(Akk Pov)
Me and Ray spent the whole month together. Side by side, not leaving each other. I noticed Ray became more clingy as times went by. I don't know why he is but I just let him. Ray never sleeps now which is a good thing, but something feels off. He doesn't seem like himself.
"Akk! Come on!" shouted Ray and that made me get out of my thoughts. I looked over to Ray tugging on my jacket sleeve, he wanted me to go with him. I followed him down the quiet streets with the moon hanging over our heads.
I found that Ray took me to the park. A small smile escaped my lips as I looked at his smiling figure. We both made our way in and sat by the tree. The tree where it all started. The first time I saw Ray walking and the time Ray saw me here. I smiled thinking about that time. Things are so different now. I suddenly felt Ray tighten his arm around me. I looked over and his eyes were looking straight. His eyes were on the bar, across the street. They finally reopened it after what happened.
I sighed, putting my head down. I rubbed his back to calm him down a bit. Even now I can't do this. I don't have much time left before... He needs to complete his task before I leave. I looked over at him and he looked up at me. He had a sadness in his eyes and I knew what that was from. It's hard being here, like this. He's been going about his days not thinking he isn't there anymore. Now seeing something that reminds him of being a ghost, hurts him.
"Ray, I need to tell you something and you have to listen," I said sternly. I wasn't joking here or wanted to be dramatic. I saw his focus on me. "I know you're hurting seeing everything but you don't have to stay here. You can go up and rest," I said, looking at the dark sky. He looked up with me and nodded. "You have to complete your unfinished task." I looked over at him and a hit of confusion was in his body.
I explained it further and he understood. He was not sure what to do and I said I couldn't help. He jumped on his feet and ran. I chuckled a bit seeing him run off.

My unfinished task? What's that? Akk can't help me. I want to do this to get away and finally rest and not go through this pain. I ran down the street, leaving Akk behind. I will come back but I need and want to do this.
Akk explained to me that it could be a person to put at ease or something to get finished. I was confused but the first place I went was to my house. It was abandoned after I left, never seeing anyone ever again. I opened the creaky door and dust flung everywhere. I walked in, seeing the dark house. Akk and I haven't been here for about a month. Normally we just traveled around going to different places.
I felt a sudden sadness cover me going through the hallways. I then saw a light flickering in my room. I slowly moved my feet towards the door. It was half way open. I peeked over the door and saw a candle light. I sighed, thinking it was something worse. Wait, why is there a candle? I pushed the door all the way in, taking a step in the room. I moved in towards the candle light that made the room bright. The candle was on my nightstand. I walked over to find flowers in front and a large picture of me in the middle. I was smiling then. There were a couple of pictures around them. A family photo and a photo of me that was taken years ago. I was about 10 then.
A small plate of food rested on my bed, steaming. Someone was here not that long ago. The food was my favorite and my dad only knew how to cook it. I never had it in a long time. His father was here, he came here? An overwhelming emotion filled me, wanting me to break down. Tears ran down my face, noticing more. This was the only room that was clean and not dusty. My dad probably keeps it clean for me, knowing I hate messy things.
