(Akk Pov)

I sat by the tree, not moving. I stayed there for awhile, after Ray left. My mind went through different things that happened in my life. I wish I could stay next to Ray but I can't. But I'm happy. Leaving Ray is painful but not at the same time. When I first met him, he was sad, lost. But now he is happy. Everything that we did together, healed him. Yes I hurt him but he understood. I always felt guilty for him leaving his family and friends. I wanted him to stay next to them and not leave. I guess he didn't really mind.

Ray popped up again after he left the first time. I smiled when I could. He was very happy. He sat down again next to me, saying he has one more thing to do. Finally Ray can go and rest. He has done so much already, now his body needs it. Then he suddenly asked about me and why I'm here. I lowered my head and let out a shaky breath. The memories of the past hit again. I did try to finish what I started but I failed. My parents died and the cat left. I couldn't do anything. Thinking about not being able to join Ray, kills me. But I had to tell him the truth, so I did. Tears streamed out his eyes as he looked at me.

He hugged me, not wanting to let go. I told him he had to finish but he didn't want to. I was being serious on this and I can't let him fail. Finally Ray gave up and agreed. He promised me he would so I have to leave it in his hands. I forced him to go. His body was sad and I could tell. I wanted to comfort him but that wouldn't be a good idea. Before he was about to go out of the park's gate, he turned to me. Out of nowhere he ran and kissed me. A tear escaped my eyes as I kissed back. The kiss was soft but filled with emotions. The ending kiss.

"Don't worry, Ray," I spoke in a tiny voice. Ray didn't respond but walked away silently. I watched his back slowly disappear down the street.

I laid my head back on the tree and stared at the sun slowly rising. My mind was blank as I watched the sky. I didn't move until night. Everything since I was living has now flipped through my mind. Seeing every little page of my life, the happy pages to the sad pages.

With the moon filling up the sky, I knew Ray left. The emptiness filled my body when Ray lived. The hole grew but I know he will be okay now. My body was slowly fading away tonight. I looked in front of me and I saw a cat. It was the black cat...I looked at it and I remembered. This is the cat that was in the attic. I heard a soft meow. I smiled as it walked closer.

"I thought I would never see you again," I said and the cat sat next to me. The cat looked over to the moon, high in the sky. "I hope your life was okay," I said and it did another meow.

My eyes were getting heavy, I'm having deja vu. I closed my eyes once more knowing it's my time. The cat came again so I don't have to think of anything more. I slowly faded, everything leaving my mind. My parents and the pain they caused left. The cat left. That terrible night left my mind. Ray...he slowly faded from my mind. A tear escaped my eye one last time.

17 Years Later...

The final bell rang to leave so student's flooded out their classrooms. The empty hallways filled within seconds. A shorter male that catches all the females eyes. He was grabbing books from his locker when he was bumped into. A taller male got pushed into the shorter one. He stumbled on the tile.

"I'm so sorry," the taller male put out a hand to the other. He was worried about knocking him down. "I didn't mean to run into you, I was pushed."

The shorter one groaned not looking up to the older. He finally looked up to the worried face of the other. Something was tugging at him towards the male. He never saw him in his life but he seemed familiar.

"You're fine," the shorter one took his hand and got back onto his feet. "You look familiar," he said.

"Okay I thought I was the only one who thought that, you are very familiar too," the taller one spoke, grabbing the other's books. "You have a name?" he asked.

"I'm Ayan but you can call me Aye," Aye smiled, with a bright smile that filled everyone's heart.

"I'm Sand, nice to meet you Aye," he opened his hand for a shake. Ayan took it and made an eye smile. He was beautiful for Sand who held his hand.

Sand thought the smaller one looked so familiar but couldn't pin where he thought that, he was confused. Ayan was the same way but he felt an invisible rope tugging them together. They both were left wondering if they met before. They instantly connected as their hands touched.

Akk and Ray left the whole not being able to be together. Their souls rip in half wanting to find the other. Even through years they were able to find each other again. Their souls went into new bodies wanting to find the other. Sand ran into Ayan now connecting with their touches. Not knowing the long painful history of them, they try to think where they met. Sand and Ayan are bound to be together just like Akk and Ray who were.

No one or anything will be able to separate them. In every lifetime Akk's and Ray's souls will continue to live. The future awaits...
