After seeing so many happy couples in love, Lucy could hardly believe that the second she woke up and found Tim's eyes, he gave her the exact same look all of the people in love tended to wear. "Hey," she whispered.

"Hi," he replied as he took stock of his unfamiliar surroundings. He was certainly not wearing any clothes, neither was Lucy, they were in her bed in her apartment, and they were up a bit earlier than he tended to wake per a quick look at his watch.

"Can you stay for a little or do you have to go home?" She wondered, since she saw him check the time.

"I'd like to stay if you don't mind. I believe you said you wanted me to make you coffee early in the morning when we're not wearing anything sometime, and I think today would be the perfect day to make that happen."

"Yeah, it sure would," she agreed and hummed into a slow kiss.

"Which way to your coffee machine?"

"Turn right outside of my bedroom, and you'll see the kitchen. I've got the good coffee beans in the fridge." She felt him shift away, so she gripped him tighter. "One more," she murmured and puckered her lips.

He brought his mouth down to hers for a minute then was released from her hold, so he could put his boxer briefs back on and pad into her kitchen. As the machine began to whir and brew, Tiana and Kojo woke up and scampered into Lucy's bedroom. By the time he went to rejoin her in bed with two mugs, he found his spot had been overtaken by dogs, and she was sitting up to pet both of them. "This double dating thing isn't working out."

"Let them stay for another minute," she requested with a laugh.

"Where am I supposed to fit?"

"I'll make room." She scooted over just barely enough for him to sit down, then she moved into his lap. "Thank you for my coffee."

He banded an arm around her bare back beneath the sheet covering her and smirked as he watched her take a sip. "I think I like this more than coffee ice cream. Wait, let me check," he leaned in and captured her lips that still tasted like coffee mixed with her, which confirmed, "Yeah, this is better."

She smiled, "I like this, too." Lucy ran her fingers through his hair to cup the back of his skull as she gazed at him. "I love you, you know."

"I know," he responded softly; they had professed that they were in love with each other, but it was the first time she strung those three particular words together in that way, so his lungs stuttered when he heard her. Tim believed it was only fair to return the sentiment, since it was true for him as well, "I love you." Her whole face lit up adorably, and he wanted to kiss every centimeter of her beaming expression, so he brushed his lips over her cheeks and her forehead as she giggled.

"Hey, nothing else is happening this morning. We have to go walk the dogs," she warned.

Only then did he realize both of his hands slipped under the sheet and pawed at her skin. "Can we text Tamara to walk them, so we can stay here?"

"It's so last minute. Had I known our date wouldn't end until the morning, I would've planned for this."

"Plan for it tomorrow morning."

"Oh, really?"

He grinned. "Plan for it all week."

"Tim," she snickered.

"You're mine now," he reminded her lustfully.

"I know. No returns. Oh, speaking of returns, I have to refund your sister."

"For what?"

"When she hired me to be your matchmaker, she paid our fee."

"To find me my match, which you did."
