I was walking home practically as fast as I could. Though I was taking the long route from school, I had to get all these thoughts out of my head before I did something stupid.

What's Talia going to say when she sees all these cuts and bruises? And what the hell happened in the bathroom when those two girls got thrown from one side to the other? Why was Lucius so concerned about me?

These thoughts rushing around my brain were giving me a headache. I stopped walking for a minute to relax. I was on a grassy hill, fairly close to my house. I hadn't noticed the beauty of my surroundings, how the clouds softly blended with the icy blue sky and how the refreshing summer breeze tickled my face and blew the hair from my forehead. It shocked me how a peaceful world like this was so full of vein, plastic bullies and hypocrites that couldn't care less about anyone else.

Just as I was deep in now positive thought, admiring my surroundings, I winced at the ear piercing scream of a girl close by. My instinct told me to find the source, though I told myself not to get involved, I soon found myself running towards the sound. I found myself in an alley way, and hid behind a wall.

I could make out three figures, my eyesight was blurry from the exhaustion of running so far in so little time. When my vision became clear again, I actually couldn't believe what I saw. Lucius was there, stood casually with his right arm in the air pointing towards a girl - one of the bullies! She slowly yet roughly got lifted into the air, however Lucius made no contact with her. Was this telekinesis? I didn't even think that was real!

The bully screamed for help, though the other was laying on the floor, her body bloody and messed up. Most likely dead. I looked at Lucius, his face showed no sign of emotion, simply a blank, slightly angered expression. What shocked me even more were his eyes, glowing a crimson red colour, the same I saw earlier in the day.

This sight was terrifying, yet is was somehow satisfying seeing these judgemental people getting punished for what they'd done. I had to cover my mouth in case I laughed or screamed, I wasn't sure what would come first.

Finally, Lucius' arm fell, along with the bully who crashed to the ground in a heap. She was now slightly bloody too, most likely unconscious. Lucius stared at the bodies for a few seconds, checking they were definitely dead. He then turned his head, and widened his eyes slightly as he saw me standing there, tears streaming down my face.

I jumped back slightly, seeing him begin to walk towards me, that stone cold expression still painted onto his face. I quickly turned my heel and began to run away, expecting the boy to kill me. I ran as fast as my already weak legs would take me, but when I turned around I saw that Lucius was not too far behind - he was chasing me. My heart bashed against my rib cage as my life flashed before my eyes, I panted loudly and felt tears falling down my cheeks once again. Then, I was tackled to the floor. I squeezed my eyes shut and shielded my face with my shaking hands, but after a moment of silence, I moved them slightly; opening one eye.

Lucius laid on top of me, glaring at me, a slight playful look deep in his eyes. He slowly stood up and offered me a hand. I stared at it, then back at him, should I trust him? I hesitantly took his hand, he pulled me back to my feet with ease.

"L-Lucius.. I won't tell a-anyone- just.. Please don't hurt me.." I stuttered, avoiding eye contact as I wiped the salty tears from my face with my sleeves. He exhaled slightly.

"Sorry for scaring you," He murmured, observing me wipe away the tears. "They hurt you, and I couldn't allow that." He couldn't allow it? He didn't even know me and he was already getting protective.

"I- I don't know what to say.." I muttered, looking to the ground in awkwardness. "I need to get back home.." Lucius softly nodded and moved to my side, looking at me expectantly. "Wh-what..?"

"I'm walking you home." He murmured again, looking into the distance as the gentle breeze blew his coal black hair from his now brown eyes.

"Okay.." I sighed, straightening my posture before beginning to walk to my house, Lucius following like a guard dog.
