Morarah and Jane spoke for a while until, one of Jane's coworkers, Erim Armid, Walked in with a File in arm, as when he saw the two he froze, and hid the case file behind his back, like he was hiding something from them.

"A-Ah, Jane... and Mrs. hill," He spoke, as a cold sweat crept onto his face. "I didn't expect to see both of you here, actually I've never seen you two interact much."

"and What's would that be in your hand Mr. Armid? hiding something from everyone are we?" Morarah spoke, as she stared at him with a blank smiled.

"Ah- uh... no Mrs. Hill! i was just surprised to see you here." Erim spoke, as he only sounded more unsure with his words.

"Are you being dishonest with me? Mr. Armind?" Morarah smiled, taking a step towards him.

"N-no Mrs. Hill, i a-actually came to give this to Jane, bosses orders." Erim spoke, shifting his gaze to Jane, who was just sitting there sipping her coffee, not paying attention until her name was spoken.

"Huh? me?" Jane spoke, looking towards him, as she placed her coffee mug down onto the table. "Why me, not saying I'm not good at my job, but I'm already working on a case."

"Well, looks like you'll be working on two now, take it up with the boss, not me." Eric said, placing the case file in front of her, and walked out the breakroom to get back to whatever he had been doing before.

"Well, might as well take it," Jane sighed, as she opened the file, it was about some buyer suing a prestigious auction house, over a painting that allegedly was supposed to be from the 19th century, but was actually from the mid-20th century, and he sued them for fraud. "And this is going to be a boring case...."

"I'm sure it'll be interesting, after all you never know how a case will go." Morarah spoke, patting Jane on the back before walking out the breakroom, leaving Jane to read the the rest of the file.

Jane finished reading the file, and is going to meet up with her client from her other case which her and Morarah were on, involving 1st degree murder of the client's girlfriend, she knew this was a case she'd probably lose, but she was going to try her best, even if she had the feeling her client was guilty, as she walked into the interrogation room, her client, Brad Stanford, sat there, staring with an unsettling grin on his face.

"You must be my lawyer huh?" He spoke, leaning his head on his cuffed hands, his smile still lingering on his face.

"Yes, yes i am," Jane spoke, sitting down in front of him, as she kept a professional look on her face. "But lets get to the point, i need your side of the story, then I'm going to ask you a few questions."

"Oh, you already know what you're doing huh? you know, you look a lot like my now ex girlfriend." He smiled, his gaze was unsettling, it just gave off the vibe of a murderer.

"Please don't change the subject, and focus on what is important." Jane spoke, frowning a bit, as she took out her clip board, as she sat with him for the next few hours.

After dealing with her client, she went to meet up with Morarah, who couldn't join her due to having an important meeting due, but they met up after work too talk over what Jane's learned about her client, his whereabouts during the murder, and reviewed it all over and over just to be sure they had all the info they needed.

"Huh, you really wrote down every word he spoke, i expected notes but not this, you really are something Jane." Morarah smiled, as she looked at jane while sipping a Macha tea brew.

"Oh- uh, if you cant read much of it i have a voice audio, from the camera's, and before you ask i got permission from the boss." Jane mumbled, she didn't know if that was a complement or not, her hand writing sucked when it came to basic notes, so she just wrote what he said.

"No its readable, I'm just surprised, i mean sure there are a few error's here and there but yeah." Morarah said, as she continued reviewing the clipboard.

"Oh, alright." Jane mumbled, sitting there awkwardly, staring away from her while staying silent, as she noticed the familiar face of Rick, probably walking to the court house to turn in the papers, it was only a block away after all.

"You seem distracted," Morarah chimed, noticing Jane slowly zoning out. "Something on your mind?"

"Oh- uh no, just... saw rick walking towards the court house," Jane mumbled, looking away from the window. "Its nothing really, just surprised he didn't rip the papers to waste my time to annoy me."

"So, what are you going to do after you two divorce?" Morarah asked.

"Well, after that, we'll have to fight over custody of our daughter, if i win I'm gonna either move somewhere here, get a new job, start a new life, and if i don't, I'll do the same, just.. without her." Jane mumbled, as she sipped her coffee to take her mind off of it.

"Ah- that sounds rough, i had the same thing happen to me, but me and my husband, but we worked it through, but I've seen how Rick is at the firm... so i don't think getting back together would be healthy for you." Morarah spoke.

"I wasn't planning on it anyways," Jane scoffed, looking pissed at the thought. "and i doubt he'd want to either, and I'm glad I'll never see him again after."

"I can tell, your tone of voice says it all," Morarah smiled, finishing her Macha tea, as she looked at the time, it was almost 1:00, and she had plans at 1:30. "I have to cut our little work "date" short, but I'll see you tomorrow."

"Oh uh- alright!" Jane said, a light smiled on her face as she watched Morarah leave, and then left herself, walking around town for a bit, until she had to go back to the firm at 2:00.
