Jane opened her eyes to see a... hospital bed? She looked quiet confused, before she realized why she was there, She had crashed the car into the highway railing after fighting with Rick.
"Rick... where's Rick!?" Jane shouted, suddenly shooting up her bed, and had noticed the doctors coming it.
"Ah- your awake, you weren't expected to wake up this soon." The doctor said, looking down at his clipboard, writing a few things down about her current heath status. "and as for your Husband, he's perfectly fine... he made it unharmed fortunately, as for you, you lost a bit of blood and went through surgery, but you should be fine, but its advise you stay for two more days."
"T-two days!? W-What about my daughter!? Whose going to take care of her while I'm Here?" Jane said worryingly, she knew Rick couldn't, He's barely around, always focusing on work and his muse, and never spends time with his own wife and daughter.
"I'm sure your husband will take good care of her Mrs. Enicola." The doctor said, looing at her like he just wanted to get to his other more important patients to his standards.
"No. I'm not leaving my child alone with him, he's never home, he's probably at work or out with some- UGH just-... no, I'd like to go home, she's not ok with him." Jane scoffed, looking deeply upset at the thought of her daughter being home alone, she's only 4, she could get hurt or choak on something. she's not the smartest four year old after all.
"If you wish, but it is advised you come back in a week, or if you feel lightheaded, sick, or have hallucinations in a few days." The doctor said, putting his clipboard away from his face to look at her, he looked... familiar, but his face was very vague, and somewhat blurry in a way, but she pushed the thought aside, getting back to what was important.

Once Jane got home she plopped on the couch as she sighed, looking towards the stairs as she saw her daughter looking down, while holding a stuffed bunny.
"Mom... is that you?" She spoke, she looked scared, like something happened while jane was knocked out.
"Yes, did something happen while i was gone?" Jane spoke, sitting up slowly as her daughter, Nova, walked down the steps and over to her.
"well... Dad came home without you and- and... some lady came by and he left with her when she got here... she looked pretty but i don't like her." Nova spoke, with a pout on her face, she looked a bit sad as well.
"... do you have any idea of where they went?" Jane sighed, she knew Nova didn't have a clue as to where her father was, but she could at least try to ask incase she knew something.
"uhh... nuh uh, but she did look like that lady that i saw at daddies job." Nova spoke, she's been to the firm once during take your child to work day, and also when she couldn't stay home alone, so she met most of his coworker's, and some of her's.
"Ah... of course." Jane sighed, as she planted her face onto her hand, moving her long brown hair out her face. "how about we go get ice cream huh?" She said, with a fake smile plastered on her face, she knew she just got home but, going somewhere would help her take her mind away from Rick and his habits, and she just wanted her daughter to be happy and forget about... that.
"Yeah! ice cream." Nova smiled, as she grabbed the keys and gave them to her mom, and Jane started the car up.
✧Jane then proceeded to drive Nova to DQ [Dairy Queen] and got her a cheesecake blizzard and chicken-tender's, then took her too the park for a bit so that she could get rid all that energy from all the sugar.
"go on, go play, I'll be right here if you need anything." Jane said, smiling at Nova as she ran off to play with the other kids, as Jane's phone's started ringing... it was Rick.
