After seeing the call from Rick she froze, she hasn't seen him since the crash and now he's suddenly calling her? He didn't even check on her when she was in the hospital and probably went by like it was any normal day! What does he want from her now? she's obviously not going to answer, he could die for all she cared at the moment.
"God... why does he always decide to call when i don't need him?" Jane sighed, it felt like a loop, she felt like everything was going too fast, she was just in the hospital 4 Hours ago, and now she's at the park with her daughter.
Jane sat there... ignoring the phone as it kept ringing, and ringing, and ringing, over and over again, as she turned of her phone and proceeded to just started away from it, not batting an eye towards it once, as she watched Nova play, but as she did the phone sounded like it go louder and it started to bug her, to the point where she couldn't draw her mind away from it.
"there's no way in hell he thinks I'm going to answer him." She scoffed, as the phone kept ringing and ringing, until she finally answered.
Then a very aggravated voice in a displeasing tone spoke through the phone, obviously it was Rick, but someone else's voice could be heard in the background.
"Finally you picked up, do you just not have ear's?" Rick spat through the phone, as even without being in front of him, you could tell how annoyed he looked.
"Actually, I'm busy taking care of our child, something you apparently never have time for Because your busy probably cheating on me again. Jane spat, quite displeased with his words, and him in general.
"Tch- oh please, you can barely take care of yourself! i doubt you're watching her, you probably sent her to her room to do whatever she does it entertain herself while you sulk on the couch!" He scoffed, not believing her words at all.
"You are- UGH- what do you want rick, I don't have time to talk to you right now." Jane said, as she had a pissed look on her face, but was trying to calm down, she was in public and didn't want to be seen as crazy to people walking by, and Rick seemed to notice by the sounds of kids playing, and the chatter from people walking by.
"Jane, where are you right now?" He said, sounding slightly aggressive, but that was normal for him.
"The park with our daughter, why? Its not like it's important." Jane sighed, he not the type to really care, him asking quite confused her a bit.
"Jane... you should be laying down right now, you just got out the hospital, You stupid a$$hat! you're only proving my point." He spat, scoffing quietly away from the phone.
"How do you know i just got out the hospital? you weren't even there!" she spat.
"Who do you think got your hospital bill huh?" He scoffed, she could imagine his annoyed and disappointed face.
"Ah- of course." She sighed, she completely forgot about the bill, usually it'd be on her tab, but lately she noticed that random things on her were being paid for suddenly, but she didn't think it was Rick doing so.
"Just... go home Jane, I'll be there in five minutes, we need to talk." He sighed, and then just hung up before she could reply.
"....." She just sat there, silently annoyed that he didn't even give her a chance to reply, even though she'd try to avoid him if he did, but she just stood up, and went to go get Nova, walking towards the kids she was with. "Nova... we have to go."
"hm? oh.. ok mom!" Nova cheerfully smiled, running towards her mom, bunny stuffy in hand as they walked to the car, as Nova waved goodbye to the friends she'd made that she'd probably never see again next time she came back.

"Alright hunny, go upstairs ok?" Jane spoke softly, as Nova ran upstairs to go play in her room, as Jane walked into the kitchen to see Rick drinking a glass of Red wine with a hint of rum while looking annoyed as always.
"Jane." He spoke, glaring at her as he put the wine glass down on the counter, taking a few steps to her slowly.
"just cut to it Rick, I'm not in the mood." Jane sighed, not batting an eye at him.
"do you know why i haven't left you or my daughter yet?" he spoke bluntly, a cold gaze plastered on his face, as he watched as Janes face shifted to shock.
"You- its about Nova isn't it?" she sighed, she couldn't even catch a break with him.
"im going to make this clear Jane.... i want a divorce and i want full custody of my daughter." He said bluntly. "Its clear you cant take care of her or yourself."
"Y-YOU CANT DO THIS, i-.. I'm not letting you take her, if i cant take care of her you sure cant either!" Jane spat.
"Oh i wont be, my girlfriend will do just fine taking your place Jane." He said coldly.
"OH SO YOU HAVE BEEN CHEATING ON ME HUH? OF COURSE.... of course you have, again, its always with you, you know what, fine, we can get a divorce, but I'm not letting you take Nova." Jane spat, as she walked away, but did say one more thing. "Oh and you're sleeping on the couch tonight, A$$HOLE."
