The Curse of the Dress

Welcome back boys and girls to another scary story told by your host with the most Deirdre Stephenson. If one notices the stories I have been telling are curse stories and yes I have a large volume of all sorts of curse stories and still none of them will have a happy ending. So do make yourself comfortable while passing around the tasty treats I have for you to enjoy while listening to our new tale. So everyone comfortable? Good now let us begin and our tale is entitled the curse of the dress. There is a small store somewhere in Canada that sells only women's clothes, bags, shoes, coats and of course dresses to. There is one dress that seems to have belonged to a handmaid back in the fifties just hanging there on a hanger waiting for any women to want to buy it. One day a woman that did home cleaning for a living wanted a new dress for work so she went to buy a new one. The day Linda Shelton went to buy herself a new dress was her day off so lucky for her she didn't need to make excuse why she couldn't show up for work. So currently she is in the store located inside where the servants dresses will be as she decides which one she would want. When she saw the one looking in the fifties she debates on getting it she wouldn't mind having it at least she would very professional when clean homes for others. So Linda saw the dress was her size as well she can afford it so she takes that one. When the shopping was done as Linda bought the dress that she needed to clean homes so she took the dress home. After that day Linda returned to work cleaning homes as she now wears her new servant dress which the family that she works for complaints her uniform. One day the family she was working for has her helping them the birthday party they were having for one of their sons so she agreed to help. That day of the party the event was turning out better than anyone expected plus tons of pictures were taking that day even with Linda in the photos. It will be four days later Linda got a call from the family she works for asking her everything was okay because the photos with her in it looks like she was transparent like she was a ghost. After the phone call Linda went in shock from what she was told as she ran in the bathroom as she throws up in the toilet. After that every time she would think about what she was told she keeps running in the bathroom throwing up it got to the point she couldn't stop throwing up. She hasn't been to work for three weeks because she couldn't stop throwing up as weak she is she goes to the hospital to find out why she is throwing up as much as she is. Now Linda is in the hospital because the doctor who saw her wants to keep her in because what was going on with her wasn't normal. All the test so far the doctor took on Linda Shelton didn't explain or show what was wrong with her or why she can't stop throwing up either. Even the nurses are on their feet with Linda because even now she can't stop throwing up as they are in her room what seems around the clock giving her buckets to throw up in. The doctor and nurses are all concerned with Linda they still can't understand what is causing her to throw up as much as she does while growing ever so weak to that they need to find an answer because the doctor believes if they don't find an answer very he doesn't know how much longer that the patient doesn't die from whatever ills her. Another three weeks went by as Linda remains in the hospital while the doctor even now still can't figure out what is causing her to throw up as much as she does and why nothing he gives her doesn't help her at all because when she does take something to try to calm down her stomach she just throws that up nothing stays in her stomach not at all. One morning the morning nurse came in to check on Linda she stood in the room in horror as she ran to get the doctor. When the doctor arrives in the room that Linda Shelton was in he went in horror to what he saw was Linda dead in bed looking like a wild animal ripped her apart but how could this be she is in a hospital no animals here that could have done that. A week later after the funeral the Shelton family went to Linda's house and packed up all her belongings even brought back the dress she got to the store where she got it maybe someone else can use the dress as the shop takes back the dress only to hang it again to be sold again. Neither the family or the store ever knew the dress is curse and that is what killed Linda to begin with so now the dress is back where it was only to be sold again only to take more lives before someone realizes it is cursed. That concludes this tale boys and girls while I do hope you have enjoyed this tale as much as I enjoyed telling it.
