The Curse of the Wooden Folk

Welcome back boys and girls to another scary tale told by your host with the most Deirdre Stephenson. Now we are coming close to the ending of the first volume only two stories left then we move on to volume two which are domestic noir stories that won't have a happy ending. So gather around while passing around the candy apples and s'mores there are plenty to go around. Everyone ready? Good we can begin and the title of the story is the curse of the wooden folk. There is a wood shop that sells everything that is made out of wood located somewhere in Maine. Peter Folk who owns the shop not only buys items made out of wood to sell but also makes his own items as well to sell since he is a very good craftsman. One day a couple visit the store a rather young couple as they look over what the store has since it is the wife who loves anything that is made out of wood since her father made plenty of gifts for   her out of wood. Lillian Carper notices the wooden folk as she decides to get the folk and other items as well and once they are done shopping they head home. Lillian since she got the wooden folk has been using it every time she made meals for her family even her husband would use the folk when it came time for him to cook. When it was Lillian's birthday the family and friends came to the party that Tom Carper was having for his wife. The party took place outside the couples home since the weather was very nice to allow the party outside. There was plenty of food and cake that day since Tom planned an outdoor cooking while the family bought the rest of the food potato salad,  macaroni salad along with chips and dip. Everything was going well as everyone was eating well plenty of hamburgers and grilled chicken and grilled hotdogs plus there were plenty of pictures taken that day since it was a special day everyone wanted to remember that day by looking at photos everyone took.  It was a week later after the party that one of the people who had taken the photos of the couple sounded very frightening and was asked to come over to the couples house and show them what they were trying to say. When aunt Bella came over with the photos looking white as a ghost as well as shaking very badly. First Tom's aunt showed them everyone else's photos first next theirs which showed a figure standing behind them with a clever in their hand while looking like they are dead already but there was no one else at the party looking like this person in the photos. The couple were very frightening at what they were seeing because no one could explain what they were seeing and what it meant. It was a week later after the aunt had visited with the horrifying photos of the couple. First it was Lillian who was complaining about feeling like she was being stabbed as she began hurting everywhere next it was Tom to complain about the same thing. It got to the point the pain got so great on the two once the pain began so didn't the blood begin to come out of any holes of them from eyes to nose and ears not just the mouth. It got to the point that the couple went to the hospital and got checked in because what was happening to them wasn't normal. Once in the hospital the doctor took all the tests he could need to do on the couple but none of the tests showed what was wrong with them. The family on both sides visited both Lillian and Tom as they demanded to know what was wrong with them sadly the doctor couldn't say. It was now turning into weeks that the couple had been admitted to the hospital yet the doctor failed to find the cause of Lillian and Tom so the doctor is doing their best to make them as comfortable as possible until an answer was given. One morning the morning nurse went to check on both Lillian and Tom as the nurse found both dead in bed when it looked like someone appeared during the night and repeatedly stabbed them to death. The cause of the death of Lillian Carper and Tom Carper was unknown causes as the family has a closed coffin for the two. Two weeks after the funeral as the parents of the dead couple claimed their things even passed down the wooden folk to another family which they never knew that the folk was cursed and which was the reason why they died. That concludes the second to the final story boys and girls as I really hope you have enjoyed this story as well as all the ones before it as I promise none of my stories will have a happy ending so far I have kept my promise.
