Classes begin smoothly enough, but as she explores the old university library one evening, Amara finds herself drawn to a dusty, abandoned section where the air is thick with the scent of old paper. A tall, cracked mirror leans against the wall, its surface clouded with grime. As she looks closer, she notices her reflection moving strangely—lingering even when she pulls back. Her own face watches her, yet something is off; the eyes staring back seem darker, more intent, as though they belong to someone else entirely.
Amara shivers, but her curiosity keeps her rooted. A chill rushes through her as her reflection's lips part, whispering, "Don't forget."
A spike of fear jolts through her, and she stumbles back, knocking a stack of old books to the floor. By the time she looks again, the reflection is normal, and she convinces herself it was just her imagination. But something in her gut tells her that whatever haunted her before has returned.
