With her shadow finally integrated, Amara feels a new sense of confidence. Her days at college start to change; she's more open, less haunted by insecurities and past traumas. Her friends notice the difference, as she participates more fully in her life, embracing new experiences without the nagging fear of her inner darkness.
One afternoon, Rowan invites her on a hiking trip to a secluded part of the forest just outside campus. There, as they wander among the trees, he asks her about the journey she went through. For the first time, Amara speaks freely, recounting everything—from the cursed sword and her high school battles to the recent confrontation with her shadow self.
Rowan (thoughtfully): "I think there's strength in facing something so dark and coming out whole. It's something most people run from all their lives."
Amara looks out at the horizon, feeling a sense of closure she never thought possible.
Amara: "For a long time, I thought my past would define me, that I'd always be haunted by it. Now, I feel... free."
