As time passes, Amara finds that the mirror realm still exists within her, but no longer as a place of fear. Occasionally, she feels the quiet presence of her shadow self—a part of her that reminds her to stay true, to never forget her own resilience.
One day, she finds herself back at the library, standing before the old, cracked mirror. This time, her reflection is calm, a clear image of herself, unburdened and whole. She sees her past self, the person who fought for this freedom, and she feels a wave of gratitude.
Amara (smiling to herself): "Thank you... for everything."
The mirror shimmers, almost as if acknowledging her, and she walks away, finally leaving it behind.
