This...this was a lot. Almost too much, but knowing that here isn't probably any more safe then out there, you knew you had to get out- and quickly.
But where would you run from these large beings who could easily match your pace with a single step?? Who could possibly squish you with a single step?? But would they be out to kill you?? Possibly dissect you for their own curiosity like all the alien movies depicted?? Were you only brought from that battle field to this place to be pried open and explored?? Is this where you'll be trapped and hurt over and over again until-
With a quick breath of composure, you stretched your legs back out and quietly stood up, the sting of your scraped hands and knees a distant throb as adrenaline continued to flow through your veins. You needed to leave. You needed to get out of here and back home; your dad was gonna get worried if you were gone for too long.
Looking around at the platform while the huge robots continued to tend to their wounded, you saw a flight of stairs leading to the bottom floor and towards what you would assume to be a way outside, given the dust, dirt and small rocks scattered along the way from there. With your arms braced out for balance, you quietly tip-toed towards the stairs, making sure to stop should it look like one of them glanced your way or when the grumpy one stepped away and began to work on what appeared to be a green type of computer.
Distracted again, you continued your plan. Once at the top, you slowly began to descend and were half-way down before you placed your foot down and heard the crunch of some loose pebbles under your feet. Before you could move or even curse at yourself for the slip up, you startled at hearing a sudden shout:
"Hey! The human!"
That loud-mouthed red one just-
Hands feeling like ice, you jumped the rest of the stairs and stumbled before booking it towards the tunnel, feeling hope begin to rise at the feel of a warm breeze pass by- but the quick rising of dread at hearing large heavy footsteps come up behind you very quickly. You had only glanced behind you to see which way you could duck only to get a flash of silver before being snatched up into the air quickly whilst losing your own breath.
A silent scream escaped your mouth as you began to panic and bang your fist against the silver digits holding onto you as the red horned mech brought you back over to the other two robots.
"Boy, she's a real slippery one huh," He said almost casually as he laughed like this was all fun and games. The red mech instead held you closer to his chasses and raised his other hand to support your feet, curling you into yourself. "Might need to hold onto her until Prime gets back. Not gonna lie though, they feel pretty warm."
"Put me dOWN!" You stressed out between ground teeth as you continued to push down on his servos, hoping maybe even your clothes might help give you the slip. "Put me down! Let me go!"
"Can't you just stay STILL FOR A MINUTE!" The sudden shout of the assumed medic startled you as you quickly tucked your arms into yourself and grimaced away from him as he seemed to lean closer to you by the words. "We don't need a human of all things to worry about running everywhere when we have MORE important things to worry about!" You were then quickly turned away from the medic with the one holding you turning his chassis away.
"Woah woah doc hold on ease up a bit- I mean the poor thing just came from the battlefield, must'a still been pretty rattled by the change in scenery and wanted space ya know?"
"Well why don't you keep the human in check while I try to tend to Arcee and handle comms! The last thing we need right now is to worry about where we take our next step!" Your hands crossed your chest and held on tight to your arms, trying to hold onto what little security you could fool yourself into thinking you had. Were you ever going to get away from them? Would you even get the chance to try again?
The medic quickly turned back to the quiet femme sitting while he continued to bicker back and forth with the red bot holding you, although you didn't pay any attention as you looked around for any possible way of getting down- any way to get away from them, and out of the mechs hands. It's too cramped in his grip- too tight- you need to get OUT. The bickering voices began to sound muffled and were instead replaced with the rabid, heavy beating of your heart, along with your breathing getting heavier and more frantic with your struggle against the mechs grip.
You needed space, you needed OUT. You looked left then right, up and down, then right again and then down again and grit your teeth as you tried your absolute hardest to loosen the grip around you- too tight its too tight let mE GO-
The sound of sudden loud static from the computer made your mind and body come to a screeching halt- your mind now a fuzzy cotton ball as you felt yourself being jostled and only seeing the medic run to the green screens in the corner of the room and his mouth moving. What was he saying?? Where are you moving too?- OH-
You were quickly dropped with a 'oof' escaping your lips as the red mech that was previously holding quickly ran to the medic, suddenly looking very serious as your hearing began to focus again and you could make out a baritone voice come from the green screen before it cut off.
The medic of the group was quick to type something on the green keyboard of theirs before pulling a lever, a noise stirring up down another tunnel and a multicolor green-blue-purple vortex swirling into existence. It looked like the same thing that you were taken through from outside. Would that be your way out?
Although before you could even think of another possibility, the furthest point of the vortex seemed to spark as 3 more large robots burst through with a shine of light, a blue smog following behind them as they ran towards your area. The medic was quick to flip the lever again and the light from behind the bots immediately cut off, the blue smog disappearing but a small wave of dust followed as the mechs slowed to a halt at the front of the tunnel they appeared from, all turning back slowly and staring.
It was quiet for a moment before everyone seemed to disperse from their tense standoff, although a heavy weight seemed to be in the air around them as the largest of them all, a red and blue accented bot turned towards Ratchet who had his hands splayed out, as if awaiting something desperately. But with a simple solemn shake of the taller ones head, Ratchet turned to the side, clenching his fists as his face pinched with frustration.
"Another one, lost," He muttered, completely frustrated and even grieved with the loss of something you had no idea about. You continued peeking from behind the metal plate by the railing at them all, choosing to stay quiet now as fear took over your body- choosing to hide now and find another way out of this place and away from them all.
They all seemed like a colorful bunch with varying sizes, one being green, another yellow, the other– named Arcee, right?--being blue and her friend red, while the remaining two that you were just observing by the green computers were the remaining colors of the rainbow you hadn't mentioned.
They seemed to talk quietly amongst each other, the large green one and smaller yellow one checking up on Arcee who only spoke back quietly to them.
"But uh, I think we have more pressing matters to look into, yeah?" A nervous chuckle was then heard, along with the approaching footsteps of Cliffjumper as he suddenly appeared in front of you, blocking your view of the bots who weren't aware of your watchful gaze. Without any warning, you were then plucked up–a startled yelp escaping you– before you were held up like a trophy for all to gaze at.
"Yeah, this one, mmmay have been my fault, a little."
