The afternoon sun poured through the porch window as Kasia brushed Mit, the small cat meowing in protest. At her side, Kasia's phone rang.
"Yeah? Oh, Spikes." Kasia smiled as she heard Khaos' voice on the other end.
"Sooo...how was the stakeout last night?" her voice was heavy with mischief.
"Went fine...why're you asking? I can't really say much about it, Spikes." Kasia mentioned, still petting the protesting cat, who could leave the bed at anytime, but was refusing to.
"Well, my coworker said he's back at The Oasis and he didn't tell me anything when I was on shift earlier. Both of y'all are total buzzkills."
Kasia laughed sarcastically. "I'll be there in a bit. Mr. Midoriya needed to meet with me about it."
Kasia could practically hear the pout on Khaos' face through the phone.
Khaos grumbled incoherently into the phone, mumbling nonsense."Yes, Spikes. See you." Kasia hung up abruptly, grabbing her bag, petting Mit goodbye and starting her day.

The café was crowded as usual, the front porch littered with coffee cups, papers and the cats that lingered around, profusely bothering the patrons for attention. Kasia moved in, waving down a barista from behind the counter. But her eyes drifted over to Bakugo and the spiky red-headed hero from before, who adorned a sharp-toothed grin on his face as he waved at the two of them.
"What are you two doing here?" Kasia rested her hands on her hips, walking up to the pair.
"Can we not have a fucking coffee in a coffee shop like normal people, tiny?"
"Well, I would assume you're on patrol cause of your costumes. Don't y'all have kittens in trees to save?"
The redhead chuckled, his laugh full of amusement. "That's not Dynamight's job, civie." He smiled. "He saves puppies from burning buildings."
"Shut it, Shitty Hair." Bakugo hissed, taking a sip of his French roast, looking out the window to the busy streets.
"I'm surprised y'all aren't being swarmed by legions of fangirls...or fanboys." Kasia turned around, ordering her drink.
"How is it working for Midoriya, Miss Takeo?" the redhead asked.
Kasia sighed as she turned back to the two. "Confusing sometimes. I'd say I'm detail-oriented, but I'm nowhere NEAR Mr. Midoriya's level."
The redhead laughed. "That sounds like our Deku." He smiled. "I'm Kirishima, by the way. You can call me Red Riot though." He held out his hand to Kasia, and she took it in turn.
"I have a plush of you. My friend, Khaos, she really likes y'all. She's got every hero collectible imaginable."
Kirishima let out another chuckle. "At least she's enthusiastic."
Kasia smiled as she sipped on her drink. "I guess I'll be seeing you." She added, clutching her bag as she paced out of the coffee shop.

As Kasia typed away on her desktop, she heard a dull knock at her doorway. In the doorway stood Mr. Midoriya, dressed in his hero suit.
"Hey, Takeo." He greeted, waving gently.
"Mr. Midoriya? Is everything okay?" she asked, her hands idle on her keyboard, raising her brows in concern.
"Yes, things are good. I just wanted to discuss the stakeout from last night in private." He pointed down the hall and Kasia stood.
