Kasia and Khaos took to the streets, the weather fair and lightly cloudy. The wind was low. Perfect, just how Kasia liked it. Khaos was decked from head to toe in niche hero merch. God, was she embarrassing to be around, but Kasia still loved her to death. Always so sure and confident.

The crowds started to thicken up as they made their way to the meet and greet. Kasia flattened out her short-sleeve and her shorts as they got into their spot in line.

Heya, everybody!!!

A low, preppy voice came in from their left, making the crowd's eyes wander and some of the onlookers screamed in excitement. An absolute tank of a man wandered over, stomping in his boots, waving to the lines of people and giving out high-fives to the little kids in attendance. The hero had a large mane of vibrant red hair and a black muzzle-like piece on his face. Almost like a wolf, trying to make up the lost ferocity with the hero's sappy personality.

The hero made his way over to Khaos and Kasia, but Khaos lept in front of him.

"Well, well..." the hero smirked, looking down at Khaos, completely eclipsing both Kasia and Khaos in height. "What? Trying to steal my look?" he joked, pointing to her hair and horns.

Some of the crowd laughed, even Kasia, getting a soft breath from her.

Khaos raised a brow and snickered, resting a hand behind her, her other on her hips. Kasia rolled her eyes and laughed, covering her mouth in secondhand embarrassment.

"I could steal your last name~" Khaos bit her lip jokingly, looking up at the hero.

A growling grumble came from behind the red-haired hero, pushing him to the side and Kasia's focus changed to him instead.

"Easy there, Shitty Hair. Don't let these fucking extras butter you up." He warned flatly, looking back at him.

Even more of the crowds' eyes were on him. A blonde-haired hero, dressed in a black hero suit with orange accents. Large grenade-shaped bracers hung off his arms like they were weightless. But even as he stood there, the crowds' eyes were glued onto the duo of heroes.

"I LOVE YOU, RED RIOT!" An onlooker screamed.

"I love you too!" Red Riot pointed to the onlooker and the blonde-haired hero rolled his eyes with a groan.

The other hero walked off, heading to a closed-off section.

Kasia kept her eyes on him, something in her head registered him as a threat. Maybe it was his tank-like body type, built from years of service and work. The sharpness of his suit, his eyes, his hair.

She got knocked out of her thoughts by a man, balding, but his skin was tight with youth.

"Sorry, lil' thing." He smiled widely, adjusting the Ingenium hoodie he had on.

Kasia gave him a weak smile, trying to put on a strong face. But she looked over to Khaos who was still entranced by Red Riot.

"Spikes, you gotta let him do his stuff." Kasia bumped into her jokingly, trying to distract herself from her self-inflicted paranoia.

Red Riot laughed as he placed his hands on his hips. "Well, guys. I gotta get goin'! Don't want Dynamight flying off the handle! It won't be too long now!" He raced after the other hero, going in the same entrance.

Khaos waved ecstatically to him as he raced off behind the curtain set up in the town square.

Kasia rolled her eyes as she laughed at the impish girl as her eyes widened like a rainforest frog, big and open.
