Kasia's eyes opened slowly, taking in the all familiar void of her dream. Her brain buzzed with an odd nostalgia. A whizzing ball of light flew pass her at break-neck speeds, sending her form spiraling through the space.

Then she felt a gentle warmth envelope her shoulders, steadying her gently, keeping her upright.

"Woah there! Sorry 'bout that, Kas." The ball had formed into a man. But this one seemed different than the other. More soft, gentle, if it were even possible.

His features were just as obscured as the other's, his glowing skin was more of a paler white light, his hair was softer in shape, flowing from his head, almost like a waterfall.

"I haven't been able to talk much to you here. He---" the man pointed in the distance, another ball of light, whizzing in the distance came barreling towards the two of them.

The lighter man laughed as the darker orb of light, crackling with energy jetted between them, swirling around Kasia's form, zooming up above them.

"He misses you the most of all of us." ZOOM. "Even though it'd kill him to admit it." ZOOOOM.

Kasia laughed, feeling the anxiety of the day finally melting into nothing as she floated, careless.

The two of them sat and talked, their words echoing through the space and Kasia couldn't stop her smiles from creeping on her face.

"Could you even tell me who you are? Cause...I know you...but I don't---" Kasia gasped at the flying ball again, feeling her body shifting around from the force of the wind it produced.

"We can't tell you...he made a threat. If we did, it would...you'd be in danger...And your dreams don't allow us to anyway. Even if you forced it out of me."

Kasia's eyes went hard, glossing over with seriousness. "Say your name."

The man started to open his mouth, but his light shifted and glitched around, like he was being molded like clay on a potter's wheel.

The man took back his original form. "See...your brain...it's protecting yourself."

Kasia raised a brow. "Could he do it?" she asked.

The light man shook his head, his messy locks reforming in their unique silhouette. "None of us can."

Us?

Kasia looked around the thick black fog thinning, showing dozens upon dozens of floating lights, their brightness differing and their color barely changing from orb to orb.

There was 30...no...40 of them, swirling around the pair as Kasia looked up at them. Their colors intermingled and mixed, creating a haze that covered wherever she looked.

This time, the dream was different. She'd never seen them before. Her eyes widened at the sight and her heart lept from her chest.

Kasia shot up from the sheets in a cold sweat, the sheets still warm from her slumber, Mit lept off the end of the bed at her stirring, the bell on his neck setting a rhythm as he pranced into the kitchen.

Kasia rested up in her bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she stumbled about the room, she slipped into the bathroom, quickly running through her hygiene before sliding her dresser drawers open. She shimmied her way into some comfortable wide leg slacks and a cream-colored blouse, as she adjusted her clothes in the mirror, her phone buzzed repeatedly on her nightstand.

Kasia yawned again as she stumbled into her socks and she quickly unlocked it, seeing the dozens of messages Khaos had been sending her.

"Got your order almost ready! Just ping me when you get here." Said one message.
