"Why don't we hold the wedding in the Paradise Hall?" Mrs. Jeon suggested gently, leafing through photos she had collected.
"Taehyung, you're the groom-what do you think?" chimed in Mrs. Jeon's sister, Meena, looking expectantly at him.
"Uh... I'm not really sure," Taehyung replied, rubbing the back of his neck with an awkward smile. "Maybe I'll go over it with Jisoo first?"
Just as Mrs. Jeon was about to continue, a sudden ring at the doorbell interrupted their discussion. She exchanged a curious glance with Meena before rising to answer it. As she opened the door, her expression softened into one of pure joy.
"Oh my god, Jungkook! You're finally back!" Mrs. Jeon gasped, pulling her son into a tight, lingering hug, as if she hadn't seen him in years.
Jungkook laughed, his eyes sparkling with warmth as he wrapped his arms around her. "Of course, Mom. How could I miss my own brother's wedding?" He glanced past her, grinning at Taehyung. "Bro!" he said, moving over to pull Taehyung into a rough, brotherly hug.
Taehyung chuckled, patting his younger brother's back, a hint of relief in his eyes as if Jungkook's presence had made everything fall into place. "Glad you made it, man."
Jungkook then turned to his aunt, giving her a quick but heartfelt hug before he stepped back, glancing around. "Where's Dad?" he asked, scanning the room with an excited yet hopeful look.
"He's talking with Jisoo's dad," Taehyung replied, trying to keep his tone casual, though the mention of his bride-to-be made his cheeks tinge pink.
Jungkook's eyes lit up with mischief. "Wait, Jisoo noona? The bride?" He shot Taehyung an incredulous look, then burst into laughter, shaking his head. "Wow, my older brother is finally growing up! Can't believe you're actually getting married."
Taehyung felt his face flush deeper, rubbing the back of his neck as he laughed, slightly embarrassed but undeniably happy. "Please. I've always been more grown-up than you, Jungkook," he shot back, trying to keep his voice steady, though a soft smile betrayed how much his brother's teasing meant to him.
"Go freshen up, Jungkook!" Mrs. Jeon insisted, giving him a gentle push toward the stairs. Jungkook laughed, throwing a mock pout her way before heading up with Taehyung right beside him.
As they climbed the stairs, their conversation continued in a lively, almost conspiratorial tone.
"It's such a shame I still haven't seen my future sister-in-law," Jungkook grumbled, glancing sideways at his older brother. "Are you really going to keep her a secret from me?"
Taehyung chuckled, shrugging casually. "Not my fault you skipped the family dinner," he teased, raising a brow. "You missed your chance."
Jungkook sighed dramatically, rolling his eyes. "Seriously, hyung? I can't just run from Seoul to Busan every other day, abandoning my work! Show me a picture, at least!"
Taehyung smirked, shaking his head. "Just wait until tomorrow. We're going to her house for the wedding discussion. You'll finally meet her there."
"So possessive already?" Jungkook teased, giving Taehyung a playful nudge before opening the door to his room.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, though he couldn't quite hide the smile tugging at his lips. "Maybe I am," he replied, a hint of pride in his voice. "She's special."
