Alaia's awfully nervous.
One, she's never been to Argentina before, so she... has really no idea how to get around. Two, this trip was so incredibly spontaneous — she booked the flight literally yesterday, and now she was on a 16 hour flight.

She fucked up, bad. She should've told him right then and there that she liked him. Because she did know what they were was more than 'just friends'. She regretted it the moment it slipped past her lips.
Don't be scared. You want this, she thinks. When she wants something she needs to go and get it.

She leaves out the part where she's actually here to make a grand romantic gesture so her casual hookup will maybe want to turn things into something more.
She takes a shower at the hotel — after all, it was a 16 hour flight. Alaia takes a deep breath as she looks at her reflection in the mirror. Don't fuck this up again, she tells herself.
She pulls a cropped t-shirt over her head, and throws on the first pair of jeans that she takes out from her suitcase before heading out the door.
Alaia calls Ollie as she's on her way there. "Do you think he's home?"
