Teething:
Your dad was home alone with you and you wouldn't stop crying. Your dad had tried giving you your dummy, some food, a drink and even checked if you needed a nappy change.
When none of those worked, he started to get frustrated with himself.
When he heard the front door go, he walked out of his room with a crying you in his arms.
Zac: "Mum, help." Your dad said to your grandma.
Starla: "What's wrong with Y/n?" Your grandma asked.
Zac: "That's what I need help with. I've tried doing everything I'm supposed to do but nothing is working. I don't know what I'm doing wrong." Your dad said.
Starla: "You're not doing anything wrong. In fact, hold on." Your grandma said, as she disappeared into the kitchen and came back with a teething ring in hand. "Here, sweetheart." Your grandma said, handing it to you.
When the coldness hit your teeth, you instantly stopped crying.
Zac: "Huh?" Your dad asked, confused.
Starla: "She's teething, darling." Your grandma said, chuckling a little.
First Word(s):
Your dad was watching Finding Nemo with you on the sofa. You were supposed to be asleep but you weren't because you were being fussy.
Your dad was really engrossed in the movie that he nearly didn't hear you say your first word.
Y/n: "Fishy." You said, making your dad look down at you.
Zac: "What did you just say, kiddo?" Your dad asked.
Y/n: "Fishy." You said, pointing at the TV.
Zac: "Well done, I'm so proud of you." Your dad said, making you smile.
Halfway through the movie, you eventually fell asleep and going for your nap.
First Steps:
You were sitting on the floor, playing while your dad was on a date with Vanessa. You heard the door go followed by the sound of your dad's voice and Vanessa. You decided to steady yourself on your feet and walk, well run, over to where your dad was.
Y/n: "Dada." You said, running into where he was with Vanessa.
Zac: "Hey, kiddo." Your dad said, bending down and picking you up. "You took your first steps. Well done." Your dad said.
Vanessa: "Who's this?" Vanessa asked.
Zac: "This is my daughter, Y/n." Your dad said.
Vanessa: "I didn't know you had a daughter." Vanessa said.
