Chapter 8

Mitsuomi pov

I slump my shoulders in disappointment as I look at my grade on the board. 56 how am I going to explain this to pops I didn't even pass now I'm going to have to take a re-test, I sighed that goes my weekend. I walked down the hallway then I saw someone falling a little ways in front of me I quickly ran to them and caught them before they fell. I was in disbelief  as to who it was "Asahina" it was her. I shook her a little for her to wake up but she wouldn't "Asahina Asahina" I tried calling her name but she didn't answer or wake up. I have to get her to the nurses office. I lifted her up. I was surprised at how light she was, no time to get distracted you have to get her some help. I start running then everyone started pouring into the halls. "Aw great now im going to cause a scene" I said to myself, everyone was looking at me holding her I keep running. Then a little ways in front if me I see Soul, Rin, Yukio, and Tsubaki and their looking straight at me, I feel like everything is going in slow motion.I run past them and don't dare to look back. I feel like my back is being stabbed, 'aww please don't get the wrong idea stop stabbing me with your eyes" I thought to myself. It felt like I was running forever but in reality it was only a few minutes. I finally got there and busted though the door and professor stein turned around, looked at me and her then pointed to a small bed in the corner of the room I went over and put her on it. "What happened" stein said while walking over "well I was walking out of the class to find her in the middle of the hall falling I caught her and tried waking her up but she wouldn't so I brought her here" I said then professor stein looked at her and started giggling then said "she'll be fine she just probably need some rest you should go back to class" then he started pushing me out of the room "hey alright alright I'll get out you don't have to push me" I said but I was already in the hall then he said "have a nice day" then slammed the door in my face."Well alright then have a nice day" what's his problem I question myself as to why he kicked me out then walked to my next class.

Stein pov

I sigh as I finally get mitsuomi out of the room "you can get up now I said then Asahina got up "sheesh I thought he would never leave" she said looking flustered and frustrated "how long has it been since you left" I asked her she hesitated a little "5 years" she finally said. What I mean by that is how long has it been since she left from the yuki residence. I've known her for a long time, I used to be a doctor at the yuki house and she was one of my normal patients. She would come almost every day with blood all over her body and huge bruise. I finally left after 3 years of her pain and suffering to work as a teacher at the DWMA. Then a few years later when she came to this school she had a bandage over her right eye she doesn't have it anymore it healed, but she cant see out if it so she's left blind sided by her right side. It seemed like she lost her soul, like she wasn't alive anymore but it was stronger than anything, probably even stronger than mine. "So whats the matter" I said she seemed drained and tired "it's those headaches I've been telling you about they just seem to be getting worse everyday, and I keep hearing the voices apologizing over and over again" she said "did you tell them about it" I said "no they kinda saw me so I find no need to tell them plus they worry about me enough so I don't want to make it worse but it seems like I already have" she sounded sad like she didn't want to talk about it anymore. She started getting up from the bed "I think it's about that time I should go" she got up then grimaced then lost her balance. I caught her before she fell, she felt lighter then I thought she would be, then she started breathing really hard. "You can skip all of your classes today and just get some rest" " but" she tried to protest "it's fine I'll make sure that it won't count against you" I said then set her down on the bed and she immediately went to sleep. I put a cold cloth on her forehead then left the room and went to her next class. Poor girl she's been through a lot during the past few years she never really got the chance to enjoy her life as a teenager and she has so much loyalty towards others even though she never got it back. I walked into her next class which was taught by my wife Marie. "What's with the sudden visit" she said " ms.yuki will not be attending any of her classes today" as I said that the whole class started barraging me with questions "is she okay, what happened, did she do something bad". "Calm down everyone she's just sick" I said which just made things worse. I sighed "alright class settle down she'll be fine" Ms.Marie was trying to calm down the students but to no avail, I sighed again. "Well im sorry to disturb you and your class" I said then started walking out the class "wait stein you can't just leave me here with them like this" she yelled at me. "Sorry I have more classes that I have to attend to" I said then walked out of the class "STEIN" she yelled but I was already down the hall. A Few hours later I spent going to her other classes and had the same reactions from all the students. Now that im done with then I can go to my class now. I walked into my class and everyone started getting quite I speak "okay class today ms.yuki" I was cut off "sorry im late" the person that bust through the door was Asahina. I looked at her she's supposed to be resting "why are you here your supposed too be" "im fine" she cut me off again " I'm fine I promise I won't let it happen again I promise" she said with a smile on her face. I can't resist that smile "alright then dont be late again" I said to her. She nodded then ran up to her seat. "Okay class today we are going to talk about your soul wave lengths".
