Chapter 11

Mitsuomi pov
I started walking up to the roof. It was quite some way from the ballroom and she looked tired when she got off the stage. I get on the balcony and she's sitting on the ledge with her back towards me. "Hey so this is where you ran off to" I said. I heard her giggle a bit "your everywhere aren't you" she said and then turned her whole body around "hey you'll fall if you do that" I said but she just crossed her legs and said "and what if I do." I sigh "your a real piece of work you know now" I said then walked over next to her and leaned on the ledge. She smiled then said "yup I get that a lot." We stayed quiet for awhile, its was getting awkward then I finally broke the silence "you have a nice voice" she smiled and said "thank you but I was kinda forced to do it" "lord death made you do that" I said "yeah my father always wants me to sing in front of people" she said. Wait what does she mean by father? She looked at me then sighed and said "lord death is my father" "WHAT YOUR HIS DAUGHTER!!!  wait but aren't you the daughter of the yuki family you cant possibly be both then you would if - AHHH WHATS GOING ON THERES NO WAY" I start freaking out. I grab my head and try to get all my thoughts together then she smacks my head "calm down you igit" She yelled at me. Igit? Then she got off the ledge and when in front of me "after I left my house I kinda just wandered around with no real destination so I was lost, hungry, and cold so I wondered all the way here trying to live anyway I can, but failed and was on the verge of death and at the time I didn't really care if I died because I thought no one would care if I did die so I actually welcomed death, and sure enough he came but he didn't take my soul instead he took care of me and adopted me until I regained my strength him and everyone else tough me everything I know" as she was saying this she put her hand on her chest, smiled and lowered her eyes "so I basically own everything to him and.... Im grateful to be alive today to serve him."

Asahina pov

After I finish telling him I look up and he's a little teary-eyed "are you crying" I asked "*sniff* no *sniff*" he said sniffing I sighed he is so crying right now. It looks like he is going to start wailing any moment I get a handkerchief from my pocket and hand it to him "here wipe your face" I side. He really looks like he's going to cry then "ASAHINA!!" He ran up to me and hugged me with so much force We were about to fall but I regained my balance somehow "mi-mitsuomi what are you doing" I said "I'm sorry" he said "why are you apologizing let go of me" I said trying to get him off of me but he wouldn't budge at all "I'm just sorry you've been through so much and you've been alone all this time and" I felt him trembling "mitsuomi" I said softly "from now on you don't have to be alone and carry everything on your shoulders I'll take some of your burdens for you I'll protect you" he said then released me and smiled "okay" jeez and he says I'm a piece of work I smile back at him "okay" I said. He then wiped his face and smiled "alright we should go back now" I said "yeah" he said then we started going back to the ballroom. When we git there everything was the same people were talking and dancing but something feels weird everything seems fine but I feel like something's off but I don't know what it is. Mitsuomi senses my uneasiness and says "are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine" I said "hey I just said" he was saying then he stopped and started looking around the room "what's wrong" I ask "GET DOWN" he yells and pushes me to the ground and he was now on top of me. All of a sudden you heard a loud screech and it broke the window sending glass shards every where everyone got down and those who didn't got glass stuck in them. Mitsuomi was still covering me so he took most of the damage "are you okay!?"I said "yeah I'm fine" he said then tried to get up but fell back on me "mitsu" I stop and gasp there's blood all over my hand is this his? As he sees the look of horror on my face he laughs and says "haha don't worry I'm fine I said I would protect you" "you idiot now is not the time to be laughing we have to get you some help" I said then tried to get him off me "Asahina, Asahina where are you" I heard voice say it was professor stein and soul "over here" I yelled and they came running towards me "what happened" professor stein asked "there was this scream and it broke the window and mitsuomi protected me but" I was explaining and mitsuomi started getting up "I said I'm fine" "no your not you can barely stand Asahina take him to the nurses office and take care of him" stein said. I nodded and lifted mitsuomi up and put his arm around my shoulder then started walking towards the nurses office. "Im sorry" he said "its fine just stop talking" I said and he started laughing again "your so weird" i said then began going to the nurses office.
