Chapter 9

Asahina pov
When Class was over I got my stuff to go home because I was excused for the rest of the day. Great Asahina now those four are going to kill me. I sighed then mitsuomi came up to me. For some reason he's in basically all my classes but I'm in one class with them witch I'm grateful for now. "Hey" he said awkwardly "hi" I said "so your going home now" he asked seeming nervous about something "yeah I got let off for the rest of the day" I said to him "do you want me to take you" what I stopped putting my books away and looked at him that was the last thing I was expecting him to say "uh you don't have to I was just worried that if you passed out again and" "sure" "huh" " you can take me home" he looked so happy "great then I will" he was cut off by the speakers "can Asahina yuki come to the death room please repeat can Asahina yuki come to the death room please". What dose lord death want with me. I look up at the speakers and sigh I turn to mitsuomi and say "meet me in the front of the school" "sure" he said . I got up and went to the death room. I went down the long hall to the death room where lord death was standing with an old fashioned Japanese cup in his hands."hello hi hows it goin" lord death said in a very happy voice he always speaks like that "I'm fine what did you call me here for" I asked or tried to "I heard that you collapsed today are you alright what happened do you need anything" he avoided the question and is asking me more questions when what he called me for. "Im fine sir I was just tired what did you call me for" he leaned all the way to the side "oh right there's a little favor I have to ask of you" I know that he has a mask on but I could tell he was smiling which made me nervous.

Mitsuomi pov

I was waiting outside for Asahina on my motorcycle "she's taking a long time maybe she got in trouble or she stood me up and went home alone"I was starting to have doubts about if she was coming or not "Mitsuomi" I heard someone calling my name. I turn around and see Asahina with a black bag and black box. "Sorry I hope I didn't keep you waiting" she said "nice ride" "thanks" I said. She kept staring at my bike with a glimmer in her eyes. "Is there something wrong" I ask her "no this bike is just really nice I'm sorry I'll get on now" she got on and leaned forward to the point where her chest was on my back then she hugged me which was probably for balance, I jumped a little when she did that. "What's wrong" she said with her getting even closer to me. I swear I was beat red I try to keep my head down and say "it's nothing don't worry about it" I started the engine turned around and rode to her house. We were on a bridge going to her house and the ride was silently uncomfortable we're not even talking. She's behind me pressing her chest to my back, she feels warm. Geez Mitsuomi there's no need to be a perv right now "hey Mitsuomi you can stop here" Asahina said pulling me back from my thoughts I stopped at this white house with a red door and two huge windows "nice house" I said "umm Mitsuomi" she said looking flustered and nervous "what is it" I said "umm thank you for everything you've done for me"did she just say thank you to ME. I stared at her "hey you don't have to stare at me say something" she said slightly blushing. She looks really cute when she's embarrassed "no problem anytime"I said and she smiled. "Hey I've been meaning to ask you this for a while now but whats in the box and bag" I asked "are you going to the party tomorrow night" she said. There's going to be a party for the anniversary of the DWMA "yeah why" I asked then wondered why she brought that up the party "you'll see then" "then I can't wait to see" I said "bye mitsuomi" she smiled and then waved at me then walked to the door then closed it behind her. I wonder what it is I turned around on my bike and went back to school im looking forward to tomorrow now.

Asahina pov

When I closed the door I ran up to my room throw my stuff on the ground and plopped on my bed face first. I sighed "what is lord death thinking why do I have to do that in front of the entire school" I sigh again. I grab my teddy bear that I always sleep with and hold it tight to my chest. I wish tomorrow never comes .
