"Pull over, let me drive."

-----

It was quite amazing how this relationship formed between Inaho and Slaine.

Slaine, the boy who started a war and made many people lose their lives, fell in love with a boy who was a hero.

Inaho, the boy who ended the war and gave people their lives back, fell in love with a boy who was a villain.

Ironic isn't it?

The first day, they met in the cell. Slaine had starting crying, after Inaho told him the princess wanted him alive.

Inaho left when he started crying. He also noted that Slaine was very sensitive to the topic of the princess.

The next meeting they had, was worse than the last one. Slaine developed an attitude, and was spitting venom at the brown haired boy.

Inaho simply didn't reply, and played the chess game with him, saying a few words here and there.

He also made another note. That note was that Slaine was a very emotional and expressive person. Something Inaho had always desired to be.

Maybe that's what drawn him to Slaine, the way that he didn't care and was an open book.

Inaho was the complete opposite. He was closed off, plain, almost bland as some would say. He was a living robot.

Soon, these games of logic turned into games of children.

Slaine had brought up on their ninth meeting, that they should play a different game.

Inaho looked at him in confusion, and asked what game they should play.

Slaine, picked a common game around the ages of 8 to 25.

'Truth or dare.'

That is what he said, smirking slightly as he asked the first question.

Inaho's lips almost twitched into a smile, but he composed himself.

The game went on for one hour and fourteen minutes {Inaho was keeping track}, until Slaine made him do a risky dare.

"Kiss me."

So, Inaho had said yes to playing the game, with all its terms and conditions.

He leaned in, brushed his lips softly against Slaine, and leaned back.

Slaine sat there with a flushed face, as Inaho left his cell.

The meetings carried on like this, from sitting close together to holding hands, to even giving each other a kiss on a cheek.

But they still didn't confirm that they were dating. 'Seeing each other,' was the term.

Throughout being together, Inaho had more notes than ever.

Slaine loved hugs, especially the ones where he can bury his head into the shoulder of Inaho. He loved small gestures, like saying 'good morning' or 'how was your day?' He really enjoyed kisses where Inaho held him close, like if he let go, he would fall into the void of darkness for eternity.

Soon, Yuki found out that her brother was into boys, and was sad.

She really wanted grandchildren.

But Inaho assured her that one day they may adopt.

Maybe.

But if Slaine wanted to adopt, Inaho was completely fine with it, after all, he loves him.

~~~
Two years had gone by, and Slaine had finally earned some freedom. He still has to be watched by the government, but the collar on his leash was loosed a bit.
He now lives at Inaho's house, but when Inaho has to work and can't be with him, he has to stay at the prison he was trapped in for two years.
Whenever Inaho came to pick him up, Slaine's face lit up and he came straight to the cell door, grinning widely at his hero.
But, that day was different. Inaho had forgotten to take his medicine for his eye, and it was really starting to bother him.
Slaine's smile immediately dropped when he saw his lover in pain, and he reached out to touch his face through the bars.
"Is it your eye?" He asked.
Inaho winced quietly, but nodded. He didn't want this relationship to start building up on lies, so he told the truth.
Slaine frowned, and he knew the exact reason why. The day he shot Inaho in the eye was possibly one of his biggest regrets he ever had.
Inaho let him out of the cell, smiling slightly, but pain was written all over his face. Slaine intertwined his fingers with Inaho, and gave him a small squeeze. Inaho nodded and they started making their way to the car.
After checking that Slaine was buckled in, Inaho started driving.
Except in three minutes, Inaho almost drifted into the other lane.
"Inaho!" Slaine calls out, turning the wheel to right to keep him on check.
Inaho winces, and tries to drive better.
Two minutes after that, Inaho almost misses a red light he was suppose to stop at.
Slaine heavily sighs.
"Stop the car." He said, looking over to his poor boyfriend. "Pull over, let me drive."
"Do you ev-."
"Yes, I do know how to drive. Yuki taught me." Slaine cuts him off. "Pull over. Now."
Inaho was in too much discomfort to even argue, so he pulled into the nearest parking lot.
They switched sides, now Slaine being the driver and Inaho being the passenger.
The next four minutes was complete silence, except the occasional sound of Slaine turning on a blinker.
Slaine soon enough sneaked his hand to hold Inaho's in his. Inaho turned to him, and his lips twitched up in a small smile.
Slaine didn't notice though, he was too focused on the road, plus Inaho would have been on him if he wasn't careful.
Inaho brought Slaine's hand that was holding his up to his lips, and kissed him softly.
He knew that he fell in love with the boy right then and there.
